OK, I'm really confused :confused3 We have a land/Sea package booked for November of this year. It's 3 nights land/4 night cruise. I'm just wondering if we're short changing ourselves on both ends. Originally we had thought it would be a great way to get to go back to DW and also try out a cruise at the same time. The price for the pkg. for the four of us, without flights is $2500. Now.......I remember how much there was to see and do in DW on our 2004 trip and I'm beginning to think that 3 days isn't nearly long enough. Also, I've been reading how much there is to do on the cruises, and again......I'm not sure it will be enough to do a 4 night, or weather we should plan a 7 night instead. So...out of curiosity, I priced 10 nights at DW at Pop Century (as we were more than happy there last time) and the only time we'd be able to squeeze that many days in a row is July and for the hotel and park passes with hoppers and water park it would be $2633 for the 4 of us and a 7 night cruise in November would be around $3100.

So...question is......should we break it up into 2 seperate trips instead? If so, which should we do first, the cruise? or DW again? :confused3

Our boys will be turning 10 and 12 in the spring.

I did WDW and a cruise with my two boys who were 6 & 8 at the time. We were gone for 17 days total. We spent 6 nights at ASMovies then onto a 3 night cruise then back to ASMovies for 8 nights.

Although the boys enjoyed the cruise they loved WDW and swimming at the hotel pool.

My thoughts would be to split it up and maybe look at a non-disney cruise. Because you kids are older they might not get as much enjoyment out of the kids labs as mine did? Also if price is a concern, DCL is the most expensive and has very limited itinaries.

If you still plan on the land/sea, try for the summer when you can maybe do 4nights on the cruise and 6 at WDW,
Just my .02

We did a 4 day cruise and 4 days at POP last November. We wanted to see if the kids would like the cruise....they did! All they can talk about is when can we go on a 7 night one! The four days at POP after was too quick. We really had to
make a plan of must sees....and it seemed to rushed and not relaxing enough. I enjoy the 7-10 trips to WDW so you have a day to lounge at the pool etc.
