Hello!:flower3:
This is my first Disney Cruise. I'm thinking about park tickets at WDW, and am wondering how much time will I have at the resort? I know the ship is supposed to embark about 5ish in the afternoon on the first cruise day, but i haven't a clue what time we even leave the resort to get on the ship? ........ Do I have time to enjoy one last park at WDW on the morning of the first cruise day?

Not sure if you are on Land/Sea, using transfers, or driving to the port. Disney transports leave the resorts at varying times; this depends on where you are staying. I think the earliest resort depart time is ~10:30am and the last one is 12:30pm.

You MUST be checked, on the ship, and at the required safety drill that is held at 4pm. Most people board between 1-3pm to grab lunch, check-out stateroom, make any other reservations, maybe go to pool prior to the safety drill. It take just over an hour from Disney to port.

This is solely my opinion, but I'd never waste a day of ticket for just a couple of hours in & out of a park in the morning. Other questions?

Like GuardMusic said, the buses leave WDW from about 10:30 a.m. - around 12:30 p.m. When we stayed at CBR in 2005 ours was the 12:30 p.m. bus. DCL picked up our luggage early that morning for transport to port and we were free to roam until we had to check in for the bus. We just did Downtown Disney. If yours happens to be the 10:30 a.m. bus then you won't have alot of time in the morning.

The website says that the hopper passes included in your land/sea package cover the whole 7-nights. If this is the case and you happen to have passes for the day you get OFF the ship (you'll have to check them when you get there) and you have a later flight home then you might be able to look into transportation options to return to WDW and enjoy one last park before heading to the airport.
