I have decided not to kill my son. He helped me peel and mash potatoes and put a steak on the grill. (We were going to have baked potatoes with our steak but I didn't think they would be very good with all those eyes sprouting....so we peeled and mashed with roasted garlic them and now I hope our bathroom doesnn't end up looking like that pic above!


SHAY, your post earlier, the one that read craps instead of crabs, made me laugh so hard. There is a sign on the freeway here for a casino that advertises $3 Craps, All day, Everyday. DH pointed that out to the kids and now eveytime we go by I hear the same joke.

It's been a very long day, and I'm having a drink. I need to finish listing some stuff on eBay, but it's a painful process with a broken mouse, and I just do not feel like going back to the store to buy a new one tonight. Sounds romantic! On our 1st anniversary we went out to dinner (a steak place on the MS Gulf--what were we thinking?) and then back to our place(his hotel room while in training at Keesler AFB for 5 months)--where DH called his mom (returned a call, actually). I was
p1$$ed! But we are still married almost 16 years later.

The weather is kind of dreary, windy, cold, so we didn't go to the Ocean today.

I took the kids to visit my MIL who just got back from WDW yesterday evening. I thought she wanted to tell the kids about her trip, but instead, she spent 3 hours talking about how she didn't get along with her friend while they were down there. Shoot me now.

What happened with the fish?
