Don't worry about crashing. We have no rules here.

Well, we have one rule. You have to tell us every loserish thing you do.

Feed the kids cupcakes for breakfast?? We wanna know.

Did 10 loads of laundry, but didn't fold any of it? We wanna know. Only about the not folding it part though! Washing TEN loads sounds too winnerish for me!

Well, it's been a bit of a hectic evening for me. Spent a couple of hours in the ER with DS3.

He was running through the house, fell, hit his head, and took out a chunk. It was really gross.

The doctor was pretty good. Pretty slow too. But she made him a balloon doggie, so he was happy.

Anyhow, I'm beat. I think I'm heading to the Ocean tomorrow to check out some prospective buyers. I probably won't be around.

So, don't get in too much trouble without me.

:scared1:  Hope he's rebounding ok! I think sometimes it takes more of a toll on the parent than the kid though. :grouphug:

I am also coming over to check it out. The TF thread has been great & this was recommended. But it does feel like crashing a party:rolleyes1

All of the "Losers" must have went to bed. Time for me to go too..I am still at work..time to leave! Happy Sunday to everyone!

Welcome, no rules just a lot of laughs. Oh yeah and you must pay homage to the driv thru:lmao:

We decided to wath the Bee Movie as a family last night. At first DS5 was nervous about watching it, not sure why but by the end both kids were dancing upa storm and laughing. It was cute, very Seinfeld humor at times.

Being good and going to Mass today, and then I think we are headed out shopping with the kids (shoot me!) to get baseball pants, cleats, glove for DS5 (although which hand do we get it for:confused3)helmet for DS5 bc we are afraid the other ones wont fit his huge head :lmao: and DH needs new sneakers to coach:confused3 .

So I told DH that I want either dinner or lunch out:yay:

My DIL'S stocked their pantries all the time for that purpose. They had about 4 kids in college at one time, and even after they graduated and got married, they would still come over and "shop".

She always keeps a stash of Sanders Hot Fudge for ice cream for me..you can only get it in Michigan (or online now) and it is the BEST hot fuge you have ever had...She brought me TWO big jars when they came to visit this time. She sends it to me for Christmas!

They have gone back to their hotel now, DH is on his way home from taking them back. This weekend went very well. We did nothing yesterday, today we went and cleaned the church for about an hourr and a half..Then we came home, had lunch..went to their hotel. It was a Westin resort..very nice. The boys went swimming in the pool, we sat around for awhile as they played pool, walked around. Then we took the ferry across the river to the "Party" area, not too crowded..although lots of people. Then we came back to the hotel, drove to our neighborhood Applebees and had dinner. Then we came back here and had ice cream cake for an early prebirthday party for DS9. Then they went back to the hotel. Very painless, actually very nice.
So now I have the rest of the weekend off!! I am gonna lay around like Jabba the Hut all day tomorrow and nobody better say nothin' about it!!

Lara, I am glad you are happy with the daycare, now you can stop worrying about one thing..

Kellie is so sweet to ask me to email back and forth to John with you guys. He says I can post "cut and pastes" from his emails, so I won't screw up any translations...like instead of "Kellie's surgery went fine and she is resting quietly"- I might write "Kellie is sugary and fine like cheese whiz with chai tea." :confused3 Hey it could happen! Anyway, I will also link some of our posts back to John..I dunno though, I am thinking that as soon as Kellie gets some rest, she is gonna be back on the boards getting into trouble..

Holy Moly RVGal!! What did you guys do out there in your part of the country to tick off Mother nature so bad?? I KNOW you are glad your're not out in that camper with this weather going on..

Well, I am gonna sign off early tonight folks. I have had enough fun and laughter for today. Looking forward to the circulars tomorrow so I can start in with IAHD's CVS savings plan. I love free/next to nothin' things!

Nighty night y'all...

I am thankful that you will deal with him:lmao:
I hope RVGal is okay and nice and safe.

You will love doing the whole CVS thing. I have saved so much money and have a great stock pile of stuff. I also am able to keep DD and her dorm mates stocked on there things.

Had to stop in and say hey! Some of you may recognize me from the TF thread :) Thought I would come over and see what you girls are up to over here, since I already know some of you are a fun bunch! So how long has this group been together on this thread? I sort of feel like I am crashing a party! :tiptoe:

I am also coming over to check it out. The TF thread has been great & this was recommended. But it does feel like crashing a party:rolleyes1

WELCOME!!!

There is no coming late to a party for a loser, it's a totally stress-free zone around here. We even forgive Winner days...that's how we hang. :cool2:

Welcome to you both!! There is no party crashers around here. We are almost ready for a new home. There will be more room for all of our stuff and yours too.
Well, loooonnnnngggg day! Up at 7AM - dress 2 kids who went to bed too late - off to Easter with Mr. EB. Leave EB at 9 and sign up DS for football - what the heck is this sign up 6 months before the season crap anyway :confused3 Other gripe of the week - EVERY sport sign up is telling me they need a birth certificate with the raised official seal - SORRY but you can have a copy! At $150+ per sport, plus equipment, etc. I am not going to the Town Hall to get originals for them to keep on file and pay another $10 each for them. There is 1 "official" birth certificate in our safe and there is no need for a handful of them to be out in circulation with all the identity theft, etc. Anyway, then work 9:30-4 I had to work and had to tell my boss that I am cutting my hours from 30 to 10 per week. I am going 32 hours at my weekday job M-F 8A-3P (same hours kids will be in school) and getting off nights and weekends  Left work, went to Walgreens to pick up a script and free $25 gift card for xsfering (new store offer!), went home, made supper, had my strawberry shortcake, and now here I am. Now to respond to the daily posts........

Hey those are great hours!!! You must be so happy! :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

So I told DH that I want either dinner or lunch out:yay:

You go girl! :thumbsup2

Shore, sorry to hear about your little guy. Head wounds are bad, they bleed so bad. Ugh!

People here are already arguing. The only good news is it's Sunday and that means naps all around. I tell them that even God rested on Sunday.

I am getting a cold too. Hopefully it will be the last one of the season.

I am sorry about your ER evening. I am glad everything is ok.

My most loser thing yesterday was after a crazy day where the boys didn't take a nap I put them to bed 30 minutes early & made my dinner, which was rice krispie treats.

Yum! Rice krispie treats are good.

I had Cocoa Pebbles and a chocolate cupcake for breakfast. The kids just wanted the cupcake.

Mornin'. It's not only rainy here today, but hot and rainy. I need to go to the grocery store, which is probably not really a good plan. We'll see what happens.

Shore, your poor little guy.

Welcome to the new people! :dance3:

Ummmm I can't remember what else I was going to say. My brain is sleeping in.

Shore I forgot to say before hope your guy is feeling better:hug:

Uh I forgot how long Palm Sunday Mass is but on the flip side I think we are having donuts for lunch and then eating out for dinner. We are all set:goodvibes

Ditto, Ditto, Ditto....

OH yeah, RVGal, did you send that tornado our way without letting me know? Within an hour after I left the Dis last night, our power went out (there was no noticilbe problem weather out...it was really warm so there was heat lightning) and didn't come back on til about 10:30 this a.m. So my wishes for a night of TV and me abruptly were put to an end. We all ended up sleeping in recliners/beds/floor in our bedroom. Total silence-for womone who cannot sleep without a LOUD fan running. I slept on and off, waking everytime DS8 "squeeked" in the leather recliner. At about 12:30 a.m., the sirens went off, so DH dug out his weather radio-not batteries of course..anyway a tornado was suspected in Rincon, about 25 miles from here, and we could have been in the path. We did nothing..we were fine. We are stupid and too lazy to get to the closet, so we just went back to sleep. It wasn't rainy or windy at all. So we are all fine...

I was thinking I wouldn't have my paper to start Shore's CVS treasure hunt, but for some reason they were able to print it...:confused3 The power was out in 4 counties, so I don't know how. We were going to go out to breakfast, but didn't know how far we would have to search! so I had coffe cake and Taster's Choice..blaahhh...

TFS, I may have missed this did your little guy have to get stitches? Hope the ER visit wasn't too traumatic for him, we have been there for stitches twice, not fun in the least..

gotta run now...

Shore I missed your post I sorry. How is your little guy?
I hope he is doing okay. Give hugs from us:grouphug:

Welcome to the new losers.
I love to see when people finally stand up and say I am a loser.
I just stand up sometimes and say hi my name is Kellie and I am a loser.:lmao:

Awww sorry to here about your little guy!! Stitches?
Well sounds like I might fit in here, if you all will have me ;) My way of doing a quick cleaning job is hiding things in closets, and stuffing papers in drawers
I bough scrap book stuff about 7 years ago, and it is still exactly as I bought it! :rotfl2: I could go on and on, but won't bore you all...

WELCOME!!!

Thanks! I think we may have been getting on a few nerves over at the TF thread  There are people signing up in the hope to get tagged, only to find our general coversation going on, and not about tags anymore ;)

Welcome to all the TF thread joiners! I haven't been here long myself, but this is a fun bunch to join.

I feel like all I've been doing for over a week is dropping in and telling you guys how crazy things are and then disappearing again. I'll try to do better... eventually... someday... I hope.

We did the grocery shopping today. Got a turkey and ham for Easter dinner. I did mention that I was volunteered to host the dinner this year, right? Yeah. Can feel my excitement?

I am trying to get the house clean-ish and find the Easter decorations to scatter around. I want to watch a little of the race today so I can wave at Mirth. I need to catch up on the bookkeeping stuff that I've let slide this week.

I'll shut up now. You guys have fun and don't forget me while I'm gone.

The weather is kind of dreary, windy, cold, so we didn't go to the Ocean today.

I took the kids to visit my MIL who just got back from WDW yesterday evening. I thought she wanted to tell the kids about her trip, but instead, she spent 3 hours talking about how she didn't get along with her friend while they were down there. Shoot me now.

So I'm back home, getting ready to clean up a little. And laundry. I MUST do laundry today, or the kids will be wearing dirty clothes tomorrow.

As far as the little guy, DS3 was a real trooper. He had a really, really nasty place on his forehead. It wasn't a cut, or a gash, it was a friggin hole. It scared the crap out of me. I could stick my finger in the hole. The nurse kept saying it had to be stitched, but the doctor kept saying she could glue it.

She did end up gluing it, she really didn't want to give him stitches because she knew he would freak out.

But you should have seen her trying to squeeze his head to get the hole to close up. She was practically sitting on his head to get enough pressure to get the hole to close. It was less stressful and less painful than stitches. And it's still holding this morning, so I guess we're in the clear.

He's really grumpy, and really tired today. But he won't nap. So he just keeps whining and whining.

Anyhow, sorry to go on and on and on. Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday!!

YIKES:scared1: !! What an evening! We have always had to get stitches, so I am glad your little guy could qualify for the glue.. I think they like to really try to use that on facial/head wounds-less scarring? Poor baby, does he have a headache? Poor mommy, who would probably really like to tell him to stop his whining, but he is hurt so mommy would feel guilty...He's workin' ya mom!! Kid's good!

I was planning a total loser day, then I realized I promised to bake some shamrock cookies for DS9's class at lunch tomorrow for his birthday. I don't wanna!! I also need to wrap his gifts between now and tomorrow evening, and start stuffing eggs for a possible Good Friday egghunt..AND try to keep the house from going to heck and a handbasket before his bday party on Saturday. AND type up scavenger hunt lists for the only activity I have planned besides pinata..

Hello again...I've been having a loser kind of day...just laying around reading after I got home this morning.

Shore...that sucks about your son...I have no idea how we've avoided ER injuries in this house. Maybe God has had mercy since we have so many illness ER trips.

I have to make dinner soon. I'm making my Sunday dinner and my Monday dinner at the same time. I'm throwing a chicken in for tonight and boiling up tomorrow's corned beef. I know the church says that we can't celebrate St. Patrick's day on St. Patrick's day this year, but I figure we'd be ok if I skipped the booze but cooked the corned beef.

Shore, I'm glad that he was able to get the glue. We have had stitches and staples here. They are not fun.

I have done a whole lot of nothing today.

Tomorrow is spring cleaning with my friend. I can't wait to get rid of all of the stuff. I'm sure my husband will be too.

We just got home from my brothers house and had our Corned beef diner. My brother said the church will get over it.
