My nickname when I was a toddler was Monkey because I would climb anything. In fact, my mother hid in my room to find out how I got out of my crib during "nap" time... only to discover that I was climbing the drapes to escape.

Both of my boys are daredevils. I'm pretty sure she wished it on me.

Did you get the magic pill that makes your pee orange? It really cuts the pain and I think helps with the frequency. If you didn't go to the store and get Uristat. Works the same. It's

I had one when I found out I was pregnant. We'd been trying for awhile (months) and had been waiting until after our anniversary trip to Vegas (we got married there) to go back to the doc for fertility drugs. We were back for a couple of weeks and had gone to Iowa State for a football game for the weekend. Had a cold, took some Nyquil, woke up in the morning with a UTI. I told DH wouldn't it be funny if I got pregnant in Vegas!!

Looked at my calendar when we got home and sure enough I was a week late. Peed on the stick when we got home that night. Very faint second line because I'd been peeing all day. Showed DH, he said "maybe" there was a second line. I said there had never been one before. Went to bed that night. Woke up at 1am to pee, gee, it's been 4 hours since I peed, so peed in a plastic cup I had (disposable!!) and unwrapped another stick. TWO PINK LINES!!! Turned on the lamp beside DH's bed and woke him up to show him. He smiled and said to come back to bed. Neither of us slept very well the rest of the night.

Called the OB/GYN office the next morning and saw a nurse practitioner. It was two yeses. Yes I was pregnant, yes I had a UTI.

We didn't actually get pregnant in Vegas, it was just before and I felt kinda bad about that because I wasn't an angel on vaca, but how was I to know? (It had been a rough month, my mom passed away and I thought with the traveling and stuff we had missed "the window" that month, guess not.

I haven't had a UTI since, knock on wood, but have had plenty of other fun female things since, mostly yeast infections. YUCK!!

I got pregnant when we were on vacation in Alaska. I took Dramamine that trip. I felt so bad. I thought we had missed the window too.

With the boys we only had to try for a month.

Well, I went over to the thread..I don't know why I say I won't, I always do. It's really not the bash thread I thought it would be..I was thinking my age group would be included in the bashfest, but I was pleasantly surprised to find many other women who became moms in their 40's. Some of those people with their "funny" remarks are just rude, though..

so I will be able to sleep tonight.

I cant find the post but no I am not peeing orange They gave me Bactrim DS so I got the good anitbiotics right away.

I attempted a nap and I think I slept some but my DMom called to see how I was . So I wake up and I see DS5 in front of me but I have no idea where DS10 is, he had been doing his homework (at the KITCHEN table ) so I starte yelling for him and at first I dont hear him, so I am in a panic and he finally answers I am in here playing PS2. Oh ok. Ummm Mom I asked you if I could play PS2 and you said fine.

Thank goodness he only asked to play video games or I'b be in big trouble
