An Ohana reservation just popped up for 11:30 AM, if we land at 8:20 will it be possible to make it in time? Just let our bags go on whatever Magical Express they need to get to our hotel and we will rush over to the Poly for the meal.

How are you planning to get to the Poly? You can't take ME to the Poly if you aren't staying there, so you'd need alternate transportation if you're planning on sending bags to your resort and heading directly to the Poly from MCO. If taking a cab or uber, you should be alright as long as your plane lands on time.

How much would an Uber from the airport be? Will the bags travel on their own on the bus?

From an online search UberX is about $19-25 and an UberXL is $33-43.

Only carry-ons go on the bus directly to the resort. Checked bags go separately and do not arrive until about 3-4 hours after you arrive at your resort.

Where are you staying?

I would say that if you let ME take you and your bags to your hotel, you should arrive at your hotel around 945-10. If check-in is short, do it. If it is long, hop a bus to MK and boat/monorail over. I think you will be fine, but any glitch 15 - 20 minutes might put you a little close for comfort (long wait at DME, last resort dropped off, just missed the MK bus, long wait for monorail or boat, etc.)

Welp, 'Ohana opened up for breakfast the next day, so we got lucky, no more rushing.

Moral of the story, keep checking the reservations every single day!

If you're staying at the Poly, yes, unless your plane is very delayed. We've never had it take more than 90 minutes from touch down to resort using ME. If you're not staying at the Poly, I wouldn't recommend that much rush & hassle.
