Hello new to this cruise thing and have a question. Has anyone booked the airfare with the package for Land and Sea? What airlines? What time did you arrive? It seems easy to just book everything together but I am worried we will arrive late in the day and lose a whole day at the parks. Any experience? Thanks:earsboy:

DCL trys to get people to FL as early as possible but it all depends on what city you are flying from. DCL will not guarantee you direct flights...if you want specific airline or direct flights you need to pay a premium on top of the airfare.

We have found it much cheaper to book air on our own..also we are in control of what flight we want and what time we want to arrive.

I agree with mmouse37. We have found it better to book air on our own. We booked air with Disney before and will never do it again. The last time we booked air with Disney, they did not allow enough time between connecting flights and everyone on the first plane missed the connection, had to wait in Philly for 6 hours, and got home at 1 am. Plus, booking with Disney means you won't know your flight itinerary until your docs arrive.

It was cheaper for us to book our own flight. Also we decided to fly in a day early (Wed) and stay at a hotel near Disney. That way we can get up bright and early on Thursday and start our vacation without having travel take up half of the first day.

We are flying on Midwest Airlines. I found it cheaper to go directly to their site and book as opposed to one of the travel websites.

it is also cheaper to book your land and sea seperatly.

Not Always. But you have more flexability if you want to save a little money. My upcomming trip in December (land/sea) is actually cheaper then if I choose my own hotel and cruise seperate and tickets. I figured out my LOS passes are $210pp for 4nights 5 days. I booked Cat 12 for $800pp.
