Hello everyone! We are going to take our first Disney cruise next year (exciting!) and I was thinking of doing HOTHS on the Fantasy for 7 nights.

Ideally, we would like to do maybe 6 or 7 nights in Orlando prior to the cruise, then maybe 3-4 nights post cruise. My issue is park tickets, because even 10 days tickets expire after 14 days so i wouldnt be able to use them post cruise.

Does anyone know of there is any Land and Sea packages offered where you do 7 night cruise, stay at Disney before and after, and the remainder of your tickets can be put on hold until you get off the ship? I dont think i could justify buying a 6 day pass and a 4 day pass.

I have been trying to find reviews of the Fantasy HOTHS but all reviews seem to be one of the shorter cruises. Anyone who has done the 7 nights can you tell me approximately how much of the cruise is Halloween focused?

Thanks in advance!

We had the same issue. We bought UK “magic” tickets from attractiontickets.com. They are valid for 14 days over something like a 21 day period.

Disney does not ask to verify uk citizenship for this ticket (like they do for FL tickets)

When WDW went to the dated tickets, it was my understanding there is a ticket available through DCL that should be good pre- and post- cruise. I've never done it so I don't know if there are any limits like how many days, etc. I believe it has to be booked through DCL as a land & sea package.

I was going to suggest trying to get the U.K. tickets. They are valid now for any 14 days in 18 days.

The ship itself is decorated for Halloween. There will be the pumpkin tree in the atrium, jack-o-lantern faces on the port hole windows, and various other decorations. Cabanas and Cove Cafe will offer some Halloween-themed treats. That stuff remains throughout the cruise.

There's also one day that's dedicated to Halloween. The drinks of the day are Spooky Juice and Franken Fusion Colada, there's a Mouse-Querade Party where the Disney characters dress in costumes, there's a special showing of The Nightmare Before Christmas with some surprise live effects and characters, you can meet Jack and Sally, and there are Halloween themes applied to many other things, like kids club activities and some of the adult-oriented shows at night. Oh, and the music loops all over the ship are replaced by Disney Halloween music.

Here's a navigator set from October 2019 for a Fantasy 7-night Western cruise. Day 3 is "Halloween". The Halloween-themed activities throughout the cruise have an orange background on the navigator grid. Most of them are on day 3, but a few are on other days.
