While some consider the Swiss Family Treehouse to be really lame, I love it. I loved the movie and wish I could live in the treehouse.;)

I also love the Jungle Cruise. Yeah, it's old and corny, but it's very Disney. In it's heydey, it was really something. Just ask anyone who visited WDW in it's first year. I would miss it terribly if it got axed.

What "lame" attractions do you stand by?

It is long gone, but I loved "If You Had Wings" in Tomorrowland!

I dont think JC is lame!!!

I too love Swiss family tree house!!!

But my vote goes to........................... TTA.... formally know as Pedway Peoplemover. LOVE IT! Ride it 2 or 3 times a trip.

It is a great intro to dark rides for the kids... a great place to chill out while waiting for our Buzz FP to kick in.... and you get a cool breeze.

Carousel of Progress is corny but still one of my favorites. We've got to see it the last two times we visited. It looks very worn, but still a great show.

Do you mean WEDway people mover? Did you know that WED was the original name for the imagineering group? WED is Walt (Elias) Disney's initials! That's the only reason I know that's what it was, though Pedway sounds good too (kind of like "get out of the way pedestrians, coming through!")

I agree, I love it. Paging Mr. Morrow, Mr. Tom Morrow. Your party from saturn has arrived, please give them a ring!

I also LOVE carousel. Love love love it. If it is open when we are there we try to see it as much as we can.

Haven't been to WDW YET! But I can say that one of my favorite attractions at Disneyland is the Tiki Room. When I tell people they think I'm crazy. I LOVE Disneyland's Small World, it's the best! :)

I miss the Swiss Family Robinson Tree in Disneyland...:(

It's a Small World After All, okay now I'll be singing it all day. ;) I have tons of pics of it! My neice loves this one also.:D

Tomorrowland Transit Authority. LOVE IT. Such a fine way to relax in the middle of a long hot day. :)

We also like IASW, although we won't get to ride it our next trip. We are both pretty unhappy about it.

Another vote for TTA

TTA is one of my favs - it's a must do! ::yes::

COP, IASW, JC....most of them actually! :)

I like the music in Swiss Family Treehouse - the film was one of my favs when growing up too. I love John Mills anyway, he's a fine actor ::yes::

TTA, IASW, The Tiki Tiki Tiki Room. Love those lame attractions!

The great thing about the Jungle Cruise is that they *almost* acknowledge it's lameness by placing funny CM's with a great sense of timing in the boats. Last time we went, the CM had us all rolling with laughter with her dry sense of humor. Because the attraction doesn't take itself so seriously, it's like a reinvention without new construction.

My favorite *lame* attraction is the Country Bear Jamboree- so silly, but it reminds me of how loud my dad used to laugh at the corny jokes.

The ride at the Living Seas is also pretty lame, but I love to look at the fish.

TTA for sure. DS calls it "the relaxing ride." :)

I think Spaceship Earth is rather lame (after the 100th time on it), but it's a must-do for us every trip.

I do SpaceShip Earth too, though each time it looks lamer to me. I guess I would vote for the Wedway People Mover.:D

I really really really love Small World. I saw it for the first time at the NY World's Fair in 1964. I think it's something about never outgrowing dolls.

TTA is the best ride there. I cant believe some people call it lame. I dont think it is...
Like other posters have said, waiting for Fast Passes to kick in its the perfect escape. I havent ever seen a line for it. Its just relaxing. I like the spiel on it. My 6 yr old son still does his best to sound like it.....

"Citizens of Tomorrow Land, Join Buzz Lightyear on a daring space mission, to save the universe from the evil emperor Zurg. Report to Buzz Lightyear, Space Ranger Spin"

In March, we got a surprise on it....
Went through Space Mountain and the lights were on!!!

Very nice, minniepumpernickel, now we have a chorus of "It's a small world afterall...."

My favorite is "Carousel of Progress" too! I just love the song although its escaping me right now. Maybe because that OTHER song is occupying my brain.

The TTA and El Rio del Tiempo are both favorites of mine. I can't put my finger on exactly why I enjoy them so much, but I do. I can't believe that some people think that CoP and Spaceship Earth are lame--I really LOVE both of those (especially Spaceship Earth--it's my favorite attraction at WDW!). :)

IASW gets another vote here..My kids love it, so I love it, too. I just love the way their little heads dart around, looking for something different than the last time.

At least they stopped playing the song for those standing in the que!!

:D

They're not lame to me, but other people think they are:

CoP and TTA. Nice ways to relax, even though you're in the park.
