These are new condos near the outlet mall. Anyone stayed here yet? Less pricy than Vistana.

over behind the LBV outlet mall? - those are brand new - they were still working on them last month.

where are you finding a rate on these?

it seems quite nice!!!

I would stay there - but I do love to shop at LBV factory shops.

so go and bring us the first review of this place!:thumbsup2

Maybe I will...DD and I have never been to these shops either!

I don't think I've driven down this far south on 535, is the new Supertarget down this way, too?

herc.!

BTW, spicy, I see your're from Birmingham. DD lives very near to the FL/AL border near Perdido. How far is Birmingham from there? I'lve only been to Gulf Shores and Foley in Al.

the Supertarget is still a couple of miles down on US 192 East - the new Super Walmart is not too far - around a half mile - might be more.

I love that outlet mall !!!- now it doesn't have the selection that Premium Outlet malls does - but I think it has much better prices.

she is much closer to florida than I am.

have you seem the beaches in the Gulf along - Ala, and Florida - they are lovely....

well that silly if you have been to Gulf Shores you have seem the beaches...:rolleyes1

Thanks for the update, everyone. God forbid a condo shows up in Orlando that I don't go to!!!:rotfl2:

Hi :wave2:

We stayed here March 2006. There were only 2 bldgs completed at that time and there was alot of construction going on around those bldgs. The noise wasn't a problem because we were usually up getting ready for the parks when the crews started each day.

Very nice & clean rooms (they were brand new).

One thing I didn't know before I got there....daily maid service was not included in the room price. If you wanted maid service is was an additional $15. a day.

Location was great...it was very easy getting to the parks and back.

If you have any questions let me know and I'll try to answer them.

boy I didn't know it was open.

I mean I saw the trucks mostly - okay a few cars - but I though it was still under construction.

so they have completely the first two building?

There were 2 bldgs that opened in late Feb. 2006 - notice I said they were opened not completed. At checked in we were told to call the front desk if we were missing anything in the room.....like alarm clocks, remotes or phones (yes, phones) they were still getting things in and putting them where they were needed.

Everything was still under construction, including the lobby. The pool wasn't open yet, no state of the art fitness center, no convenience store, no restaurant & bar and no spa. All you got was a room with a balcony (medium size table with 4 chairs) overlooking the construction going on around you.

I looked at the ameneties listed on the web site and the only thing that wasn't in our room yet were the hair dryers in the bathroom, otherwise our room had everything they listed.

We're going back this year (March again) I can't wait to see how much different it is! Sounds like it will be very nice.

The rooms look just like the pictures on the web site.

Hi Tinkin, thanks for all the info.

How did you reserve with them? Online or phone. Do they take AAA or offer aany other discounts. I emailed the website, but the email bounced back.

I think I registered with their website back in the fall and got a promotional rate email from them. It looked like it was going to be a very nice place. I liked that they were going to have 4BR/4BA condos.

Last March I booked the room thru Hotels.com, they had the 2 bdrm/2 bth for 130.00 a night.

For my upcoming trip I booked directly through LBV's wesite, same 2bdrm/2bth is $139.00.

I am interested to hear from anyone who has stayed here also! The location looks fine for off site, and the condos look convenient. We have a 1br BWV for spring break for about $500+ per night (family reunion, all staying there, so won't change that) but the rates at this condo are so cheap! It said about $139 a night for 2br in June - I am definitely considering this.

These condos are beautiful and very close to WDW (2 miles). For the poster that asked about SuperTarget- head down 535, cross over 536 and continue for about a mile. Turn right at the corner of Polynesian Isle and follow this to 192. Turn left and SuperTarget will be 1.5 miles down on your left. There is a JoAnn's in this plaza as well.

I was just checking out www.tripres.com and they havethis resort on there 2bdrm for $119 in May and the first twelve days of June . The three bdrm was $149 for those dates. The last two weeks of April are that price as well.
