Lake Buena Vista Resort and Spa

Thoughts? Is this a nice resort? How far a drive is it to the Magic Kingdom? Are there any good food options nearby? We are tossing around a bunch of different options for a trip, and this one has a great price. But that also scares me at the same time, kwim?

Is Bonnet Creek worlds nicer?

I enjoyed staying at Lake Buena Vista Village Resort and Spa in December. We got pizza from the Pizza Hut in one of the buildings one night and got dinner from the Irish restaurant another night, both were just fine. The pirate pool and bar area was nice and we enjoyed doing that one day.

It only took about 10 minutes for us to drive to Downtown Disney on a Saturday afternoon, going up by Crossroads and turning down through the DTD area hotels. If we had gone directly to MK, I think the drive to TTC would have been about 15-20 minutes going down World Center Drive.
