Lake Buena Vista-Best Western

I had reservations at Hotel Royal Plaza and they have moved us to the Best Western Lake Buena Vista at a lower rate. How is transportation to the different parks. Any advice on how to make this a better trip? It has already turned south. We are arriving on Oct.8th and will be there for 5 nights. We were to drive and visit Pensacola Beach (thru Priceline--still have not heard on refund even though hotel is closed until Jan). Last week decided to fly and shorten trip by driving days--this means we do not have a vehicle (unless I rent). We are taking our 4yr granddaughter and really plan on staying mainly in Disney Complex--so I am not thinking about renting vehicle.(let me know if this is a mistake!!)

What are pros and cons of taxi vs Mears shuttle from airport to hotel.

The Best Western or LBV as it is called seems to get decent reviews through Trip Advisor. As it is also a DTD Hotel, the bus service should be the same.

As far as Mears, how many are in your party? I think if you have three or more people in your party a towncar is more economical than Mears.
