First I want to apologize for taking so long to put up another update. Due to a busy weekend I didn't get on much and now I'm trying to play make up on all the reports I follow. On top of being behind I still don't have much time. Dennis is out of town this week so I have more home stuff to do. Poor guy he's at a Leadership conference it VEGAS! He flew out Monday and will be back Thursday night. So far it doesn't sound like it has been too taxing.
Okay so back to the report.
We left off being disappointed in not getting a nap in at Universe of Energy. What to do now? We weren't really hungry but we needed to eat soon or it would really mess up our dinner ADR at Teppan Edo at 5. And we still wanted a rest. So we forged on into Future World to find some lunch. We passed through Mexico but didn't stop. As I have said before it's real hard to get through the walkway there due to the construction and the line for the counter service place. We passed through Norway and again didn't stop. We had eaten here on Sunday. Onto China where we did take a photo or two but didn't stop to eat.

I'm always trying to get some pictures from every country each trip but somehow I always miss a country or two. I have never really spent a great deal of time in China and I haven't seen the film since my very first trip in the 80's. I have now come to the conclusion that I need to divide and conquer. Each trip I'm going to try and fully do at least one country. We did do the film in Canada this trip so next trip I'll try to hit France or China.
Moving along to Germany.
We only stopped long enough for me to take these.
Gotta love the trains.

When we hit the American Adventure we decided to stop for lunch. It was getting late and yes we were hungry. Of course we waited until the worst possible time to eat. The place was mobbed! The lines were long and there were no empty tables. It was time to divide and conquer again. Dennis and Michelle hit the lines. Danielle and I stalked around for a table. We actually walked back and forth waiting for a table to open up. We hovered around people trying to finish their meals and waiting. We weren't the only people doing this so we had competition. Finally a table opened up really close to the fixin' bar. The people there graciously offered their table to us. Within minutes Dennis and Michelle came with the food. We had the table right about the time we had food. Remember how careful I was not to eat meat at breakfast since it was Ash Wednesday? I had also carefully planned out that I would order the shrimp at dinner that night. But for some reason my planning didn't include lunch. I had been hankering for a pulled pork sandwich the entire trip and when I saw in on the menu I told Dennis that's what I wanted. After make sure we had what we needed at the fixin' bar and finally sitting down to eat I took a few bites into my pork and then it hit me. . . . I'm not suppose to eat meat today. I felt horrible. Honest mistake I didn't intentionally do it. Moving on. While we were in there we got to see and hear the Drum and Fife Corps. The marched right through the eating area on their way in and out. After everyone's bellies were full it was time to decide where to next. We were now all full and tired and luckily right next to a nice dark attraction. Michelle and I did the American Adventure in 1999 with the full intent of seeing the show, but being in a cool dark place was just too much. We fell sleep. Dennis and Danielle have never seen the show so it was decided we would give it a go. The next show was starting in just a few minutes. When we walked in Voices of Liberty were performing. Michelle and I hadn't enjoyed their show since 1999 and of course Danielle and Dennis had never seen them. We caught the tail end of the show but really enjoyed it. Luckily we caught the state roll call song. As they say each state you are suppose to represent when they call your state. Well since this was Mardi Gras week when they got to Louisiana it had the biggest reaction. There was one state that had no reaction, I think it was Wyoming. I do remember them saying they have never had anyone yell when it was sung. After the show everyone moved along to enter the theater. It had been a long time since I had been in there. I found it odd that we seemed to go the long way to get into the theater. It seems like there has to be a shorter route. We settled ourselves into our seats. Michelle had every intent to use this time for a nap. I honestly tried to stay awake but just couldn't make it. I'm pretty sure Danielle fell asleep but I think Dennis stayed awake for most of it. I did come in and out of sleep and try to watch some of the show. We all woke up in time to enjoy the beautiful and moving song at the end. Someday I want to actually see the whole show but I may have to use something to help keep me awake.
After our brief rest we decided to split up. Danielle wanted to do a KP mission, hopefully in Japan and Dennis had no patience for another mission. Danielle and I headed in one direction and Dennis and Michelle headed in another. Here is where my pictures get real erratic. It looks like I went back and forth and not in the usual circular path. Of course since I had stopped writing in the notebook, other than pictures I have to rely on my spotty memory. I do have some pictures from Dennis and Michelle's exploits. It appears they did lots of shopping, but no buying.
Their first stop was Canada.

Some landscapes.

They made some friends.

What's a trip to Disney World without a pictures of ducks?
