Being the history geek I am, I noticed that on my last trip and I meant to look it up when I got home seeing that 1787 doesn't pop out in my random history knowledge. I'm going to guess 1787 has to do with the Revolutionary War ending.

*I don't consider myself to be even close to a supermom...I don't type about the laundry room or when I lose my patience and yell at my son for things he can't help or when I plop down on the couch at 8:45pm when Michael and Elsa go to sleep and watch TV till 1am and wake up grumpy (believe me...the list goes on and on.)

Whew! You are human! No, really, I understand - you gotta run the house the way it works, and from what I can tell, you are doing an awesome job. I bet your kids enjoy helping the little ones and yes, you are doing it all as a family - and those memories and experiences are something most people will never have! I'm so glad to hear you have a support system too, I know I would be calling them with tears veryyyyyy often.

I knew this one too!! No petering out, it is just the end of the six weeks at school so I'm am way overwhelmed with projects, tests, and more tests to grade by next Friday! HAPPY HALLOWEENIE!​

Trick-or-treating went great. Baby C had to stay home, of course but E, Elsa, Michael and I enjoyed going door to door asking for free candy

We had a great time tonight and my kids have some fun stuff scheduled for the actual Halloween evening...so they are still excited for that, but I must admit I am thankful my part is done.
