ladybugs at GF

I just watched the Travel Channel's special about GF and they mentioned a "ladybug launch" that is done in the morning there. It looks like the kids participate in letting the ladybugs free into the garden. Does anybody know anything about this? Is it just for GF guests? Is there a cost involved? What time does it occur and how much time does it take? Thanks for any info

I may be wrong but I don't believe they do this anymore. The Travel Channel show was shot in 2001.

I would hope not. We have such an infestation of those critters around our area that we'd be happy to ship some down.

I hate to be the barer of bad news, but when we where there in January I inquired about the "Ladybug release" and they said that they discontinued this shortly after that show was taped.
I was sad, because my 2 year old loves ladybugs and wanted to do it while her 7 year old sister was doing the Pirate Cruise.

Oh well, she will be old enough to do some of the things soon.

Maybe if we all write the GF, they will bring it back. There was recently a new General Manager over the entire resort. I can't remember the guys name but he is supposedly really nice.

Was his name Wesley? If it was, he was extremely nice to me! Which was a welcome surpise after some of the CM we dealt with in SL...just my experience though.
