Ladybug release @ GF and WL - Are they open to guests staying at any resort?

I've seen a few postss recently about the Campfire, hayrides and other events that in the past I had assumed were open to only guests of those resorts where the events were taking place.....So ok, sounds like I was wrong.......Great news in this instance!!!

So, my question is are other events (specifically the lady bug releases at the GF and WL) open to guests staying at other resorts (we're staying at AKL). What other less 'well known' events/activities are there? (IE - lady bug release at GF and WL, night vision goggles at AKL, Campfire and Hayrides at WL)

Has anyone ever 'done' the lasy bug release at either location? What time is it at? Is it every day? Do you have to make any kind of reservation? Does it get soo busy that some children don't get an opportunity to participate?

I wanted to see the ladybug release as my younger dd is VERY into ladybugs (she even has a costume!) but my DU agent called to find out about them for me, and was told they no longer do them

I only asked about the GF one, however...does anyone know if they're still doing them at WL?

DD5 loves ladybugs. Unfortunately, the ladybug release at the WL has been discontinued.
