Hi everyone, OP here. I am sorry everyone is having a hard time downloading the album, but I think it's due to demand.
It's not a programming error as I rec'd 2 emails from Amazon advertising that price. I downloaded first thing this morning ( like 6:15 am) with no problems. Yes, it will play on iTunes!

Thanks so much! Mine is downloading just fine. Yes you can add these songs to your Itunes library. Mine is showing up in there now but you can also inport the songs to your library if it doesn't automatically show up in there.

I click on recent orders, and it shows this order completed:

I've never purchased music through amazon before... did I do something wrong?

Edit: its in the "cloud player" and allowing me to download to my computer.

I got mine from buying movies at times and regular CD's. You would have gotten an email that you got a promotional credit.

Well, it took several hours and about 4 or 5 hits of the retry button, but I got it all. The last song downloaded about 15 minutes ago. I did get up and walk away and do other things while it was downloading. I don't use the cloud player, I have it set to download to iTunes.

I got an email and bought it. It is basically not downloading. The first song says download failed. Anyone else having this issue?

Thanks for this. While I don't like her, DH is a huge fan. It's downloading for me but slowly. Usually I get the songs in a minute or two I'm at 3% after 5 minutes. I think their server must be really slow because this is a huge deal. An entire album for the price of one song. Make you wonder if someone made a programming error.

Definitely not an error. I found this deal on slickdeals this morning and someone over there posted that Amazon sent out a tweet about this deal.

I'm sorry to hear everyone is having problems downloading. But I thought it was just me. This is the first time I've used Amazon cloud. Usually I would just use the amazon downloader and put it right into iTunes. But with the 20 gb upgrade with this purchase I thought I'd give cloud player a try. So far I'm not impressed. I bought my copy at noon today. Got 6 tracks immediately, about 2 hours later I was up to 12 tracks. Now, 5 1/2 hours after the initial purchase I've still only received 13 of 14 tracks.

we got it on itunes this morning - the deluxe version - I wish I saw this earlier oh well, even at itunes price - it's worth it.

It did take a while (about an hour) some songs downloaded quick, others like Born This way and a few others took a while.

They do inform you at the beginning that due to high demand, it may take a while to download.

I only have the digital booklet right now (which makes sense since I have no interest in it at all ). I did the "call me" feature and talked to Amazon; the guy said the demand on this album is so large it pretty much crashed the server. He said everything should be up and running normally in a couple of hours.
