up next ~ DAY 2, MK and Jackie at BBB

Awwww, GREAT pictures! The kids are so stinkin' cute! :lovestruc

And I think we met that Mulan too. She was *very* sweet to my girls, even remembering their names after seeing them at breakfast and again in China.

Great pictures!

They Turned out SOOOO GOOD! :goodvibes

Those pictures are all so good. Your kids are adorable.:goodvibes

Thanks! Now I just have to decide which one goes on the wall!!

Awwww, GREAT pictures! The kids are so stinkin' cute! :lovestruc

And I think we met that Mulan too. She was *very* sweet to my girls, even remembering their names after seeing them at breakfast and again in China.

Now that's a sign of a GREAT character! After seeing 100's of little girls, she can remember their names, that just makes it all the more real and special for the kids!

Day 2, Magic Kingdom!!

I had a wake up call for 615am, because I wanted to shower before the kids got up. But i also scheduled another call for 645am for the kids, so they could hear Mickey, or Stitch, which ever one called. Well, I was to excited for the day :lmao: and woke up at 545am and just layed there until 6am. Cancelled the 615am call. Showered and got myself all ready, and the bags packed, and just waited until the 645am call.

DSC02227.jpg

FINALLY it was time. The phone rings, i hold it to Jackie's ear and.................NOTHING!!?!?!?!? :confused3 The wake up call was nothing more than just some classical music. Not even GOOD classical music, no Disney music, and certainly not Mickey wishing me a good morning, or Stitch yelling at me to get to the parks. I was so bummed!! None of the wake up calls we got for those 3 days had anything at all to them. It was such a downer.

But I got the kids up, and pointed to all the stuff Tinker Bell had left the night before for them!! :thumbsup2

She was so excited over the Daisy Doll. :rotfl:
DSC02231.jpg

Joey, on the other hand, didn't want to get up.
DSC02232.jpg

Finally drag my son out of bed, quickly get them dressed and ready to go. Grab a quick pop-tart for breakfast and we walk out the door to head for the buses at 7:20am. :thumbsup2

There was 1 bus loading when we got there, but it was going to be too full so we caught the next bus. It came very quickly and we were on our way at 7:35am. I was thinking we were doing very well, until I remembered that it took a good 20 minutes to make it to MK. So we missed the Welcome Show and rope drop by just a few minutes. By the time we made it thru security and past the throngs of confused visitors staring at eveything but not MOVING, we got to BBB right at 8:15 for her appt. :guilty: My plan was to atleast be able to ride Dumbo once before her appt. Oh well, Jackie and I went in, and I send DH to go grab FP's for either Pooh or Peter Pan. :thumbsup2

I was so excited for Jackie's appt at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. I had tried for the past 2 months to try and get an appt for myself alongside her, so we could both become Princesses, but they were booked solid. Now that it's past, i realize it was much better that I didn't, as it was so much fun to just WATCH her getting done up. She was excited for it to begin, but she didn't really know what was going to happen.

Contined.....

Day 2 Continued....

So we check in, and the CM at check in gives Jackie her Personalized Invitation, and walks us over to meet her Fairy Godmother in Training. Up in her chair she goes,
DSC02233.jpg

and the FGIT shows Jackie the different packages she could choose from.
49.jpg

I didn't get a good look at the choices before Jackie made her decision, but knew there were 3 choices, a Disney Princess, a Pop Princess and a Disney Diva (I think). ANyway, she choose the one with a bun on top and tiara. Of course, she loves the crowns, must have 1/2 a million of them laying around the house.

Jackie's hair is just like mine, sooooo very thin, and limp and falls out of everything barette and ponytail holder i can find. When i saw the choice she picked, I was nervous that her FGIT wouldn't be able to get all her hair to STAY in that tiny tight little bun.
DSC02235.jpg

DSC02237.jpg

50.jpg

But with a lot of goo and an amazing amount of patience, she got it all! (And how crazy, not a single tear or "Ouch that hurts" was uttered! So crazy!)
52.jpg

DSC02241.jpg

Then it was time to put the Tiara in!! princess:
DSC02242.jpg

54.jpg

Once the Tiara was in, her 2nd FGIT came over to do her nails and her make up. She got to choose the color, Perfectly Princess Pink, or Bibbidi Bobbidi Blue.:lmao:

DSC02244.jpg

DSC02247.jpg

Then she got to choose a little "bling" to wear. What does she choose?? The Crown, of course. :lmao:
DSC02248.jpg

Then she gets Pixie Dust, her Sash, and finally the big "Reveal!!"
62.jpg

DSC02250.jpg

63.jpg

She was so excited and just loved her experience!! Mommy bought her a new Belle Wand also. ;)
DSC02253.jpg

She got to keep all her extra make up and the other jewerly choices, plus both nail polishes, some stickers, her sash, the Tiara and a Mickey barrett that went in the back. (it has since become mommy's favourite hair accessory. I wear it every day now! )

continued...........

Waiting for more popcorn::
Did Jackie wear the shoes all day?

Yup, all day long. Never once complained about her feet, or the dress being itchy, or her hair being too tight or the insane amount of Pixie Dust in her hair bothering her. :thumbsup2 All she did was take her sash off at lunch time, and decide not to put it back on. :confused3

What a wonderful day! Jackie looked like she had a wonderful time. princess:

Did I mention in the other post that DH never made it back after getting the FP's?? Well he didn't. Said he looked into BBB and it was too crowded, so he and Joey went to ride the rides. :( Granted yes, it is rather busy in there, but i would have thought he could have put up with it for 25 minutes to see Jackie get done up. Whatever, it must be a mommy thing.

So while we were at BBB, Joe and Joey were riding Peter Pan, Dumbo, Snow White, and they did Pooh 2x!!! I guess EMH really are great. Joe said Joey loved all the rides, except Dumbo. He didn't like dumbo, which i find funny, because I thought all kids liked dumbo!! They were on Dumbo when we got finished.
DSC02254.jpg

Well now it was time for Jackie to ride some rides. What does she want to do first?? Dumbo. But of course, the park is open now, so it's a huge wait, Joey just got off and didn't like it. I did my best to convince her we'd ride Dumdo later. So we head over to Cinderella's Carousel. Both kids are excited, jumping up and down in line, so is mommy. It was crowded, so we didn't get Cindy's horse, but Jackie didn't know any better so it was ok.
DSC02258.jpg

DSC02259.jpg

:offtopic: the woman next to Jackie on the carousel was bf'ing her tiny little baby on the horse. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 HUGE props to her, not only for bf'ing, but for being able to do it with the baby in one of those front carriers. I could never do that, just couldn't get everything in the right place. :lmao:

So after the Carousel, I decided it was time to go get in line for Ariel's autograph. It was only 10 after 9, but already, the line was wrapped all the way around her grove. So we go get in line, and the kids are running around playing in the water spouts.
DSC02260.jpg

Since we didn't really have breakfast, Joe went over to Skuttle's Landing for a quick snack. Banana's and Lemonade! My kids LOVE banana's. Each had to have their own, no sharing. ;) So mom and dad didn't get any banana.

After the banana, Joey goes back to running around. And he DARTS across the grove, between these tiny little rocks, into the "cove" where Ariel sits. Yup, another CM to catch him and give us this look. Seriously, we are not bad or unattentive parents!! But this kid is like a rocket! one second he's playing happily in the water spouts, and the next he's exploring bad places!!

Ariel's line ended up being VERY long and extremely slow moving. We didn't get done with her until 10:15am, thus missing the opening to ToonTown. Great, there goes my touring plan! :furious: So we decided to spend a bit more time in Fantasy Land before heading over. We used teh FP for Peter Pan that DH had gotten, and went on Pooh and Snow White too. Finally Finally Finally!! I got to see the pic of Mr. Toad handing the Deed over to Owl!! I must have looked 15 times for it! :rotfl: My kids love Pooh, it's such a great ride, but MAN!! why is it so hot in there!?!?!?! Snow White and Peter Pan aren't hot like that! It's not that they don't have AC in there, but it's like that have the HEAT on!! :faint: Crazy!

So After doing most of FL, we headed over to Toon Town finally. We grabbed another FP for Pooh before we left. :thumbsup2

Walking past the Teacups, and Jackie says she wants to ride them. Last time we went on those Jackie was 2 1/2, and she spun the cup enought to make Joe sick! And i was 8 mts pg with Joey!! Joe said no way was he going on those again. So we had to bypass the teacups this time.

We headed straight for Goofy's Barnstormer first. I knew that Joey was just a tiny bit too short to ride, but wanted to see if they would let him on anyway. :guilty: They did!! No one measured him or even gave us a second glance! Not that I promote blatent rule breaking such as this, but really, come on, it's not like it goes upside down or anything! he LOVED the ride, was laughing and giggling the whole time. Jackie, yeah, not so much. She gets off and says "that ride was WAY scary for me mommy!" Both kids got their official "1st Rollercoaster Card" leaving the ride. I thought that was really cute, it's now in the scrapbook.

After that we headed over to Minnie's house to walk thru. I was hoping to see more characters OUT rather than in the big fair building, but there were none out.

DSC02267.jpg

DSC02268.jpg

Walked over to Mickey's House (sorry no pics :scared1: ) and the line to see him in the Judges Tent was wrapped around the garden. So we skipped that and went over to the big fair tent. 90 minutes to see the Princesses!!! :faint: no way was i waiting that long! We promised Jackie to come back, and bought her a stuffed animal to get her out of the building. :rolleyes1 yeah, i'm not above bribery if it keeps the meltdown to a minimum.

It was getting close to lunch time so we decided to head out of toontown and find lunch. Our plan was to have lunch at Cosmic Rays, but first we headed over to Buzz for FP's! Always thinking ahead!! :rotfl:

back after lunch

So lunch for the day is scheduled for Cosmic Ray's. I had done extensive research on all of the CS restaurants in MK to ensure that Joey was able to have something he would eat, and the rest of us would be happy too. Dh isn't an adventourous eater, so we mostly stay with the same restaurants. I knew that Cosmic Ray's would be able to provide a Kosher chicken nugget meal for Joey so that was where we decided to go. We're not Jewish, but from what i understood, a Kosher meal wouldn't mix Milk with the Meat. All of Disney's chicken nuggets have milk in the coating, so most every restaurant was off limits for us. But Cosmic Rays has Kosher meals available with no notice, for Joey, and the rest of us could order off the regular menu and everyone is happy.:thumbsup2 I got the Kosher nuggets for Jackie and Joey to share (yeah, Jackie eats a lot of non-dairy items now too ;) ) Dh got a burger, and for some stupid reason, i felt the need to order the ribs and 1/2 chicken combo!!! WOW was that alot of food! Definately would be perfect for 2 people to share, and save 1 dining credit for later. One thing i have to gripe about is the lack of dessert options for food allergy sufferers. The only place for us to get a dairy free cookie is the main street bakery. And unless the rest of us want a croissant for lunch, we're not eating there. So Joey went without dessert, a lot of times. :( Otherwise lunch was great! The potatoes were SOOOOO yummy, very creamy. and the beans with my meal were crunchy!! FRESH!! not soggy and slimy after having been sitting for days. The kids ate their nuggets and grapes just fine, and applesauce. And Joe said his burger was big and juicy. So we were all pleased with lunch.

Now...we wanted to rent a locker, because the diaper bag, camera bag, and my "carryall" bag with the autograph book was just too much to carry. So we decided to head back up to the front of the park to find a locker. Along the way we passed the Castle during the Dream Along with Mickey show. (we didn't stop to watch, but i did manage to snap these awesome pics, just while trying to get a pic of the castle.) We never get to watch the shows. :(

And the Family Fun Day parade was just starting as we walked down Main Street.

so we go rent the locker, and on the way back, i decided to pop in real quick to Exposition Hall to do the PhotoShoot for BBB. I figured since we were already at the front of the park....... well like i said for the GF photo shoot, dh hates pictures. He hates to wait for them and says i have/get way to many. I just ignore him and get them done anyway. :duck:

How can you not take a million pictures of this adorable little girl!!?!?!?!

So after our photoshoot, which really didn't take too long at all, maybe 15 minutes, we FINALLY headed over to Tomorrowland for Buzz Lightyear. Walking past the Main Street Bakery, i thought it would be a good time for ice cream, since that is the only place in MK that carries Dairy Free Ice Cream, but no one wanted any. :confused3 So we make it into tomorrowland, and Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor is just letting people in. So we jump in there. Very cute show. Jackie and Joey loves Monsters Inc, so they really enjoyed the show. Dh too, which is always a plus. Finally, it's time for BUZZ LIGHTYEAR!!! I have to say, this is our absolute favourite ride. We go on Buzz atleast 5-6 times each trip. We quicky grabbed another set of FP's for Buzz before we go on the 1st time, using our FP's. Joe and Joey in 1 car, and Jackie and I in another. After doing my research on DIS, i finally managed to hit a big target and beat Joe!!! :cool1: Normally, he gets like 150K and totally whomps all over my 30K. But i hit a big target, can't possibly remember which one, and got over 200,000!!! WOO HOO!! Yeah, i rubbed that one in for a while. :rotfl2:

Be back after class tonight.

Great update!!

I understand how tough it is to deal with allergies, as DD 6 is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. The good news is that I suspect it is easier to work around the nut allergy than the dairy allergy. I know that there is milk in everything! Were you able to get any Divvies cookies? I know that they are nut free, and think they are also dairy and egg free. I'm alsso pretty sure that they are availabel in MK.

And Jackie is just adorable in her BBB photoshoot. What a sweetie!

Precious BBB pictures!

Yeah, we knew about the Divvies, but they are only at the Main Street Bakery. we'd have had to make a seperate trip up there for each meal just to get him a cookie. Next time i'll just bring some of his own cookies.

Precious BBB pictures!

Thanks!

Right outside of the Buzz ride, Stitch and Buzz were out signing Autographs. So we get in line for Stitch, he's another favourite of my kids. I keep saying that, but actually they love them all! It just seems while Pooh bear and Donald and Goofy and those characters are classic and will be loved by everyone forever, my kids seems to go nuts over the new Pixar characters. Buzz and Woody, Monsters, Cars, Lilo and Stitch, Nemo. All of them, they just get so excited to see them!

Then we go over to Carousel of Progress where Buzz is standing. I love how huge Buzz is compared to Jackie! :lmao:
DSC02279.jpg

DSC02280.jpg

After autographs we decided to head over to Frontier Land, because i wanted to try and see Woody's Cowboy Camp so the kids could see Jessie and Bullseye. But my schedule must have been off because they weren't out when i thought they were supposed to be. So we never got to see the show. And the kids were too small for BTMRR and SM, so Frontier Land was a bit of a bust for us. We did walk over to Liberty Square and do HM, which, again, Joey loved and Jackie was a bit off. It's funny, while she would never freak out in line, or even on the ride, it was always after we got off that she would say the ride was too scary for her. :lmao:

Up next was POTC, and I couldn't wait to see the new updates! I loved the ride before, but it's even better with Jack Sparrow and the others in. And another great....Jackie wasn't scared!! :rotfl:

We walk out of POTC, and Wendy and Peter Pan are signing autographs right next door. So we get in line, and of course, they're leaving. :( I hate when that happens, because while I understand it, my 4 yr old doesn't. But it's a fact of life she'll have to get over.

By now it was about 3pm and Share a Dream Come True (is it even called that anymore??) parade was about to start. So we rush over to try and find a spot to view it. Unfortunaltey, we left the strollers parked by POTC and the camera was in it!! So I have only pics on my phone, which do me no good as I cant figure out how to get them off my phone and onto my computer! :rotfl2: But the parade was wonderful. This wonderful gentleman had a space right down in front, and he was letting all these kids come and sit down with him so they had a great view. So Jackie got to go sit down in front, and Joe held Joey on his shoulders. It was a great parade!

Bathroom stop for Jackie, so Joey and I sit down by this bench, and i decide to tempt fate, and let him out. :scared1: He did very well, and didn't try to run away!!!

DSC02281.jpg

But he did climb behind the bench and throw rocks. ;)
DSC02282.jpg

The lady sitting next to us was just laughing and laughing at him!! She said it was better than having him scream! :thumbsup2

After the parade we headed over to Adventure Land to ride Aladdins Magic Carpet. Joey didn't like it, but then he doesn't like Dumbo either, so it's the same ride. So we're spining around the genie bottle and all of a sudden , WHAM!! Right in the eye with a very powerful stream of water!! Now, i always thought there had to be someone down by the camel to make it spray water. But i didn't see anyone there. Man did that hurt!! I'm shocked my contact didn't fly out! It was just perfect timing/aiming to get right at the corner of my eye.

We get off the Magic Carpets and get in line for Aladdin who is supposed to be right out. We were hoping Jasmine would be with him, but alas, she was having dinner in the Castle with Cinderella, so no Jasmine.
Aladdin was great, he was very impressed with Jackie's autograph book! :thumbsup2
DSC02283.jpg

DSC02284.jpg

DSC02285.jpg

He remarked that we didn't have Goofy's signature yet ( we did, from Epcot the day before, it was just on a different page) and asked if we were heading over to Toontown to see the characters. Just being polite and following the flow, we said we were, and would be going there later that day. So he asks Jackie if she would do him a favor.......Could she be the Royal Messenger of the Day. :yay: He takes out this "tag" that has Goofy on 1 side, and Aladdin on the other side. Aladdin said that he and Goofy like to play tag, and each day they pick 1 family to be the Royal Messenger of the Day and ask them to Tag the other person!
DSC02286.jpg

She was so excited to do this!! It was great. She had to promise Aladdin we would go straight away to see Goofy, and she had to Tag him with the Tag. Then Goofy would pick another family and have them Tag Aladdin. (incidently, i don't see how this could work, as Goofy can't really communicate well with familes)
DSC02287.jpg

DSC02288.jpg

Well, after that there was no question that we were headed back to Toon Town.
