Ladies-would you date a man that shaved/waxed his legs and chest?

While I prefer men that have a patch of hair on the upper chest, then down the *ahem* treasure trail...and some leg hair...

I have a crush on a man who I suspect shaves his chest hair. I've seen him shirtless plenty of times (I swear he does that on purpose, but that's for another thread, and certainly not a Disney board... :p ) and he is completely bare. He has very little leg hair, too. Then again, he doesn't have a lot of hair on his head...but I still want him!

LOL, ok, if there were a very good reason why he had to shave, then maybe I could deal with it. But nah, I don't think so.

OMG! This literally made me spit coffee on the keyboard! :rotfl2:

The only place that bothers me if there is a lot of hair is a man's back. Not a good look on ANYONE. Or, if the hair under their arms is so long it starts approaching their elbows...

I have a few close friends who remove chest / back / leg hair. We're not that close, so I'm not sure of their preferred method. I think it's mainly vanity....going for a certain athletic look.

However, just one big turnoff for me.......stubble. Both ewww & ow!

I did date a guy who used to shave his legs. He rode mountain bikes in races. I was a little startled at first but I really liked the guy so it wasnt really a big deal for me.

Any man that can endure that much pain is definately ready for marriage. :teeth:

BTW..I have a gal wax my back and I swear it hurts worse then the time before.

I'm not a big fan of hairy guys either. I think waxing the chest and keeping the forest trimmed are good not sure about the legs though.
I agree with this.

kind of like having Buckwheat in a headlock? :teeth:

I was waiting for someone to bring up my thread from a year or so ago. When I married DH, I was very attracted to his hairy chest-just the right amount of hair. In the last 4 years or so, he has started to shave or have lasered off all hair from below his neck to, and including his crotch. It really grosses me out - he's gained weight and looks like a giant baby to me.

Me too. I used to date a cyclist. He was hot

He never could give me a real good reason why they shave their legs, though. He'd talk about aerodynamics, but I didn't buy that. I thought it was for when they ultimately crash and need to tape themselves back together. Then the "waxing" takes place, like it or not. :rotfl2:

I like a guy with a hairy chest...and hairy rest. Very masculine, if you ask me. :)

Those smooth, polished model guys look way too feminine. If DH shaved, I'd gross out. But DH is one of those kind of guys who'd never even think about it.

Well, the notes that followed were suggesting they weren't too interested in women these days.... ;)

Unless they are cleaning their legs for some sort of athletic event, I stand by my no date stance. But, I'm married, so I guess my opinion doesn't really count. :sunny:
