Ok I know about the formal nights but what do most of you wear on the nights that it is not formal.I never really notice what anyone else is wearing.LOL On our other cruises I wore a dress everynight(somewhat dressy) but friends of mine said they wore capris. Is this OK? What about pants?

I'm most comfortable in slacks. I wear them with a dressy top. I've also worn capris, but mostly on the tropical theme nights.

Sat night I have a polo-shirt type dress (long, below the knee) or I will if it is EVER delivered (LLBean).

Sun - formal dress

Monday - simple black dress - this is our choice for Palo

Tuesday - dress I bought in Hawaii years ago and wore last year on Mexicali.... night

Wed - pink dress (matches with DD's), sleevelss, simple & linen

Thurs - formal dress (we enjoy dressing up both nights)

Fri - ? undecided. Possibly black capris, possibly blue dress from Sat night

Last year I wore capris for at least one casual night, maybe 2. No one blinked an eye and if I don't double up on the dress, I'll definitely do those probably

Deb (who me? obsessive planner? bahahaha)

WOW Deb We are on the same cruise and I have o idea what I am wearing any night yet. I have 4 formal dresses although I am not sure I like the way any fit.:teeth:
I have a tropical night dress but I 've worn it 3xs already so i might by something new. The other nights I am clueless.I guess I better get to work.

The non-formal nights I usually wear slacks, a sundress or pants and a nice top. I try to mix and match the wardrobe so I can pack less and still have different combos.

Ok, so it might really wig you out if I tell you I was considering hanging up our outfits night by night and taking a digital pic and putting it with my paperwork (I would have skipped semi & formal nights) so I could remember?

I decided the ziploc bags were a better way to go

Sleep? who needs sleep? I must plan.....

Honestly, once I get on the ship and the ressies are done, I don't have to think again all week long. To me, *that* is relaxation

Wow I better get off t computr an do some organizing. Can you come over and pack for me when you are done?:teeth: ;)

Get this one...

Last cruise I found wounderful light weight casual capris in white. Well, I ordered 2 in white and 2 in black. I then mixed and matched my tops. Did the same for my shorts. Less bottoms, tons of tops.

Next time, I think I'll get a hair cut to go better with the weather! I had a bad hair day the entire trip! Anti frizz - extra strength - dule straightener! :)

Capri's, pants and simple dresses are great for all the other dining nights.

Formal night - long black skirt, glittery black tank
Semi formal - long black skirt, white dressy tank
AP night - checked black pants, white top, colored beads (as show progresses)
Parrot Cay - green pants, tropical blouse
Lumiere's - black pants, different black tank
Tropical night - short tropical print skirt, yellow tank, colored beads
Small World/Best Of - checked black pants, red top, red/white/blue beads
Palos brunch - short tropical print skirt, different yellow tank
Char brkfst - black pants, different tropical blouse
DVC reception - DVC tshirt of course
Cozumel mini-golf - DIS tshirts

I find that what wears well and takes up the least amount of space are the long dresses (think sleeveless or short sleeve A-line). They are comfortable, look dressy and pack well. PLUS for us older ladies, they hide a multitude of "sins"!

Last year except for formal and semi-formal night I wore slacks and a nice top to dinner every night. I remember looking around and seeing many people in capris and slacks. Once we were done dinner we would all go to our room and change before the shows. Seemed silly that I spent so much time planning every dinner outfit when we only wore each for 90 minutes that day. Didn't stop me from over planning and over packing again this year.

Scary and comforting to know that there's another person who plans as much as I do.

I agree, the more I plan the more time I get to relax. Once we were on the ship last year I didn't have do a thing other than have fun. I was wonderful.

(Three weeks from right now we will be leaving the Radisson and heading to the port.)

Dear Disney Ladies,

On certain nights, guess what us DH's want you to wear?????

(tee heee, he tittered like a 14 year old. Then he "tee hee'd again at the word "tittered".....)

Having take too many trips recently where I did no preplanning - just put everything in the suitcase about an hour before we had to leave, and then it turned out that was not "everything", I say YEAH to obsessive/compulsive planning -- Need to get started, with two teenage dd's, it will just about take me 60 days!!!

Jim - too much time with the middle schoolers!!

we were on the 3 day wonder cruise..
i wore a capri pants/ matching top cruise type outfit every night...
very very casual....with sandals....even to tritons...
i did not feel at all out of place...
although there were people dressed much more formally, as well as those who were much less formally attired...
i really don't think anyone cared one way or the other...

For the nights other than formal and semi-formal I wear nice pant outfits with either a matching or coordinating top. DH wears Dockers and Polo's on those nights.
