Ladies (or Gents) what's the most you have ever paid for a purse?

I am feeling a bit guilty today. Bought a new purse and spent more than I ever would have dreamed on spending......
Just wondered if anyone else had ever done a similar thing

When I was single and in retail I would buy Coach bags for $100 plus. Now I use my LL Bean healthy back pack for several years, still looks like new. I'm thinking of getting a new leather backpack bag in the $100 range but then I'll use it for years and years. I don't switch purses very often. I'm resistant to change.

So do tell how much you spent??

I am the queen of the cheap purse! Never spend more than $20 - usually somewhere cheesy like K-mart or if I'm feeling fancy, Target.

Nobody sling anything at me $1,200.00 on a LV I have had for about 8 years still looks new.
I spend about 135.00- 250.00 all the time on a nice leather D&B I buy them for my DD17 they last forever .

What kind did you buy an dwhat did you sepnd ?

I am waiting for DH to by me a Hermes but at 8 grand for the little one he will never go for it . ( said somethign about he would have me commited or somethign along those lines)

Ok, Ok, 185.00 for a D&B. First time ever. I hope I love it as much as I think I do!

The most that I personally have spent is $100. Although, my DH gave me one for Christmas that was around $280.00. I would have had difficulty spending that much on a bag. However, I was more than happy to receive it! I love Brighton bags!

$265 for a Dooney & Bourke brand new.

I was checking out e-bay and they sell for next to nothing used. I think D&B's are on their way out.

Now I'm looking in to getting a Louis Vuitton from e-bay.

$260 for a Coach. I don't think D&B is on their way out, they just have alot of new styles, so you can find the old styles cheap. They dont just make the allweather leather anymore they have all the new color signature bags. I have a problem, I don't even want to add up all the $ I've spent on Bags in the last few years. Coach, D&B, Brighton I LOVE them all!

I bought mine on ebay It is a D&B the "new" IT line. I just fell in love with them!

I sure hope its not on its way out

Okay, maybe it's not "out" everywhere, but around here, the bags of choice are Brightons, Louis Vuitton and Vera Bradleys.

One year for Christmas I got a coach bag, a very expensive wallet and packed them both with all my junk. I never carried around alot of stuff until I got this coach bag. I could have won on Let's make a deal, I had so much stuff in that bag.
On Good Friday a few months later my mom and I were doing some Easter shopping. We got mugged! The guy pulled a gun out and took my very expensive bag and all it's stuffing. I now carry the cheapest bag I can find in Walmart, no photos of my kids anymore, and charge cards. I got all my cards replaced and was not responsible for anything, but the bum got all my cash and I couldn't get that back. And all the photos of my kids that I used to carry around are now on my bookshelves. I lost some of my favorites. Peggie

I've got Coach, Kate Spade and D&B. They are great and will last me a lifetime. The Coach was in the $300 range and the most expensive.

Gee after reading how much some of you spent on a purse, I don't feel so bad about spending $98.00 on a Longaberger Basket purse. (That included shipping, I got it off ebay).
