*Ladies only WDW trip 9/28-10/2* (Update p.14 #204)

OMG! I just found this thread. I want to go! I don't know if I can justify it. Let me think on it. But definitely keep me in the loop. I would love to have tour World Showcase with anyone who might appreciate it as more than a path from the Boardwalk to Mission Space! Even DH doesn't appreciate it.
Will I need to find my own roomate?

The WS is my favorite place in all of WDW. Believe me I appreciate it very much

I'm pretty much a 'lurker' but I had already planned a Disney trip for Sept 21-24. My birthday is Sept 22. I could put it off for a weekend, but it depends on the cost, etc.

I have never made it all the way around WS touring because I always spend too long. LOL! I love WS

As for PI -- is anyone else not interested in PI but possibly in Disneyquest instead? If so, then while those who want to do PI are there, those of us who don't can go play games in DQ instead

I am interested in this as well! There are some things going on at work, so I can't commit 100% yet! BUT, I really want to come.

Provided I can come, I want to share a room as well. Category doesn't matter to me...I just hope the group picks a hotel I haven't stayed at yet!

Even if I can't go, I would love to help with the planning. I have a vacation planning virus and there is no cure. I get the shakes if I am not planning a vacation!

I think we would get along very well! That is the same way I am....I even became a travel agent on the side just to help satisfy the need to plan! what hotels (mod) have you not stayed at?

We went through yahoo, ezboard, another one I forget, email, and finally found these phpbb forums when we were playing wpasadi 2. By far, the phpbb was the best for us.

As you probably saw from the title the dates are set. We will be there Sept. 28 thru Oct. 2. Food and Wine Festival here we come!

Now all we need to do is choose a resort and it looks like it will be a moderate!

Once we get a resort I will need to have those who were undecided to start firming up their plans so we can start working on a head count.

So far I have 27 who say they want to go, and 17 undecided.

I just wanted to check in. I may be interested in doing this trip . I have an AP (no ticket cost) and a DDE card. I tried to find the other thread (about resorts) but the search is acting up. A moderate is OK with me and so is a roomie. Put me in with the undeceideds.

I don't know if I'm on the list or not. I'm a maybe and if I went I would have to leave to come hom on Sunday. I would probably want to share a room, but don't know how it would work since I would be leaving a day or so earlier than others unless there are others leaving early.

And all this depends on me talking my DH into this idea, having the $, etc, etc. Also, the 28th is my son's birthday, so it would mean me being gone for that, but he probably wouldn't care as long as I bought him a good present.

Of course I want to, it's a matter if life getting in the way. I haven't mentioned anything about this to my DH and I don't have a clue what he would think. He might think it's a good idea, he might not. Hard to predict! Also, now that my kids are all in school there will come a time that I will need to grow up and get a job, but it probably won't happen before then. My son's Bar Mitzvah is a little over a month later so I plan to wait at least until after that, but the job thing hasn't been decided.

I'm up for DisneyQuest, I love virtual POTC! I'm not really into clubs, unless maybe the comedy club I would go to.

It just occured to me as I read your post that if someone reads this but hasn't read my other thread, they might think you are just out there on your own mooning Amtrak trains!

Sorry to hear you won't be able to join us. Maybe we'll make this an annual thing and then you can catch us next time around.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to attend this year . I'm keeping an eye on this event for future years. I think this is a great idea and the fact that Food and Wine is going on is another
