Can anyone recommend a good, supportive sports bra for longer runs? I've been using the C9 ones from Target, but I'm looking for something that offers a bit more support.
Thanks! :goodvibes

I just went to Marshall's this week and found Movin' Comfort bras for $7.99! They offer alot of support. I had been wearing a Champion with a "bra top" on top of that for extra support and followed by a shirt, but in the summer it was getting wayyyyyyyy too hot!:scared: The bras were in the fitness section! For that price, they can't be beat! Good Luck!

I really like teh Moving COmfort Maia. I've tried many kinds and keep coming back to that.

I think Title 9 sells it, but they never show brand names, so you have to look up a brand name and see if it compares.:confused3

I really like my Under Armor sports bras. I should say that I'm on the smaller side, so you can take my opinion FWIW.

I second the MC Maia as well as the Champion Powersleek. Both have underwire and I find to be very supportive and comfortable. I should mention I am a part of the "bounce and you'll get a black eye" group... ;)

I've been using the C9 and although comfortable the ones I have seem to be a bit heavy. Looking for something lighter for summer. Are the MC ones good at wicking?

You know, all the wick in the world can't keep you dry in this humidity. They work pretty well until I dump water on myself, though. Still, tehy've gotten me through 2 very hot and humid WDW marathons.

I use the Moving Comfort--Fiona. I'm a bit short, so the adjustable straps are awesome! I have a hard time finding any that fit for daily wear. Finding one for walking/running was just as difficult for me. I've been very please with these though. Great support! Good luck!

The one I bought at Marshall's is a Maia. I didn't notice a big difference in wicking from my others bras. Right now, the humidity is so high I'm not sure anything can wick the sweat away fast enough.:)

Oh I hear ya on the humidity! Been a big dripping mess w/in 15 min of getting out the door lately. Will stop by Marshalls over the weekend and see what they have.

Thank you!! I'm going to try the MC Maia and swing by Marshall's to see what they have.

Probably a bit nutty, but sometimes I will wear two sport bras for extra support.

Ya, I need one that is for a VERY SMALL size, adjustable straps since I'm short AND something that actually supports since I nursed two kids. I've noticed the smaller sizes don't really have any support. I guess they assume if you're small they're still perky??? :confused3 :lmao:

I have the same exact situation! I am not VERY small...but small (b-cup.) I am using the new Moving comfort Dori bra and it has been great so far. The difference between the "new" Dori and the "old" one is that the new has a bra clasp on the back and the older version doesn't. I like that it actually gives me some shape, and no bouncing.

lil mermaid, I went and looked and the Dori starts in a B. I need an A. I'm really thinking there is no running bra for me... They just don't make size A running bras to lift up pancakes. (Yes, the kids did a job on them...)

One of my favorite is one I bought at GAP in NYC. Gap Body. Having said that, we were there yesterday and they didn't have any. Maybe on line.

Maybe this one would work - the Cameo. http://www.movingcomfort.com/Product/ab_010.html It is similar to the Dori in that it offers encapsulation to give you some shape, along with compression to hold you in place.

I hope you find something!
