Ladies, I need your opinions on ball gowns(several choices included)

I really like #1, I'm sure it comes with straps if you don't want it strapless. I have looked at that dress before. But I do agree with other try it on, you can't go by pictures.

I like the second one and the last one - I'm partial to brown right now.

I like the bottom one.....of course, for me it's because it shows what I like showing and looks like it would hide what I need to hide.

The girl wearing the gown looks fantastic and her hair and skin tone appear to be the same if not a very close match to your own coloring. I think you need to go try it on and snap pictures and let us see

I just bought another dress to add to the roation also, I have a military ball to go to at the end of October. I bought a dress almost identical to the first one. I was on the hunt for a red dress this year.

I like the first one. The deep red color looks amazing with any formal military uniform!

I love them all, but #1 doesn't flatter "busty" ladies like myself... tends to cut you in half.

I'm a plus size gal and the only ones I could see myself wearing are the purple one and the red one. Even then I'd have to have a shawl or something cause I HATE my upper arms to be showing to the world.

They're all beautiful but I don't think the halter style is very flattering if you're not tiny elsewhere. I agree with the other poster that said they'd want to cover up their upper arms too.

Here's a style that has some back detail like one with the small train you picked but also has more coverage up top.

I like the first, third and the last one the best. And that first would make me nervous feeling like I need to pull up the bodice too...

2, 5 and 6 before I would even consider 1, 3 and 4


2 is a nice halter front with out being too frou frou, but the open back might be a little much for a military ball but I liked it.


I really like 5 but would probably be more suited to a cocktails and dinner event than a ball

6 would look good at any occasion


1 is too much "member of the wedding party"ish

3 is to junior prom

4 looks like a nightgown
