Ladies - how much do you pay for a haircut?

About $65. Typical for a good salon in Southern California. There are places that charge TWICE that.

Including tip about $50. I will pay that around here because it is very very hard to find someone who will do a good job. I go to a full service salon.

I've JUST started going back to a full-service salon. I used to be a stylist and cut my own hair for 10+ years. It's grown so long now that I can't do my own anymore, so I went to a salon just last Wednesday and LOVE it!!!! Their cost is $24 for a shampoo, cut, and style(I also tipped her). She threw in a deep conditioning treatment free.

Full service Salon - I paid $10 for a cut, $20 for a perm and $25 for the chance to be a red head again! Waxing for brows and lip was $5.

Things are more inexpensive here in my small town of Indiana but by no means are they "cheaper"!! My hairdresser is popular and always busy!

By the way, Beth, I found an old tape of "The Boys" and watched it about a month ago - the one with the water driven engine. Sure was nice to see some good TV for a change! Hope they get some reruns started soon! Long Live the Lone Gunmen!

I get my hair colored or foiled whenever I go in for a cut. The cut is $55.00 and the color/foil ranges from $90.00-$110.00

I usually go to Fantastic Sam's, but ONLY because the one I go to always does an excellent job cutting my hair...I have had bad experiences at other ones. This one charges about $23 + tip for a cut + blowdry.

I pay $45 plus a tip for the full service salon I go to.
And that was just to trim the ends. I have loooong hair, mostly all one length, and I think it would have been more to have it cut into a style/layers.

I have shoulder length hair and am charged $17 for cut and style. Sometimes she washes it and sometimes she doesn't. Either way, the price doesn't change. I go to a full service place.

$30.00 for a cut and dry at a full service salon. I love the lady that does my hair, if she ever quits or I move away I don't know what I will do!

Not a thing...thank god! My best friend is a stylist and his boss allows him to do "family" for free in the salon. I do know that the thermal reconditioning that I get done ever few months runs as high as $500 for a full head. If I had to pay that I would not have my straight hair today!

I pay $26.00 for a wash and cut. I can sit under the dryer and then my stylist can curl it for me, but it's extra for the stylist to blow dry it. I've been going to the same woman for at least 17 years and her prices have increased with time. I go to a full service salon.

$50 for a wash and cut, more if you want it blow dryed. I never get them to blow dry my hair, I always think I can do it better.

I love my hairdresser, but she is HIGH drama! Once I tried going to someone else and she found out about it, boy did I pay for that one!

It's $25 for a shampoo/cut and style. Not too bad.

My problem is that is't 30 minutes away. It's the only place I've found that doesn't want to chop off my hair all the time.

$8 and if she's nice to me I'll tip her. She happens to be my sister so she doesn't always get a tip. She's a barber and has quite a few women come to her.
