Ladies, do you wear makeup in the parks?????

We just got back Sat. after 9 hot days and I learned there's no point in makeup when it's hot. It seemed hotter this year that in the past when we've gone in October. I put makeup on just about everyday but when I got back to the room at night and washed my face I hardly had anything left on. Next time I think I'll just do a little eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara and forget about anything else if its still hot.

To those worried about cameras: I've looked at many pictures of my late mother - some of them taken professionally, some of them typical 'candid horror' shots like on Christmas morning. And you know what? Regardless of how much makeup she was wearing - or none at all - she looks beautiful in every one.

Want to wear makeup for yourself? Great! But the people who love you don't really care about how full your lashes, or if there's that little line around the edge of your lips....

Oh....That was Beautiful! No matter how bad I look, I always smile for the camera. My friend insists on not taking pictures unless totally done up. I tell her, when you're gone and the kids are going through the photos, they're not going to care about how you looked, they're going to see their Mom and love her no matter what she looked like!
