I will have a few hours to kill Sat morning and need a haircut. Anyone reccomend a place to get one's hair trimmed? I will be staying onsite at SOG, but don't mind taking a taxi if needed. Any advice would be appreciated. :goodvibes

The closest is the Grand Floridian but be prepared to pay well for Disney hair services.

I've had my hair cut at the Main Street Barber shop. I was fun and far cheaper than any of the resort salons. If I recall it was $14.

It's pricey, but Carmen at the salon at GF did a great job on my hair (cut and color). Don't remember how much.

I just had my hair cut, colored and highlighted at my regular salon and paid $180.00!!!:scared1:
My regular stylest was on maternity leave and they re-scheduled me with another stylist. I am used to paying about $140.00. When I was finished and they told me it would be $180 I said I never paid that much before. They told me that it was because the stylist they gave me was at a "higher level" than my regular stylist and so she charges more.
If the salon at the GF or even CSR where we will be staying charges the same or less than $180.00, I will totally have my touch up done there!

I always get my hair cut the week before I leave for WDW because the prices in Disney will be about triple. I even make sure I get my nails done right before I leave because what costs me $20 here at home is about $80 in WDW.:scared1:

Unfortunately, I'm currently stationed at a remote Marine Base in the southern Mojave Dessert, so unless I want a "high & tight" I don't think I'll be letting anyone around here cut my hair. :scared1: The closest thing to a spa I've seen is advertisements for massage by "pretty Asian girls", so I'll be happy to pay extra for services I can trust.
