Ladies, any problems taking aerosol hairspray cans in carry on baggage. I use Aussies aerosol spray, as it works great, large can though, what do you think? Carry on or checked ??

Either checked or carryon should be fine, but I usually put mine in a gallon size zip lock bag. I had a can get squirted into DH shoe once!

Don't know what airline you are using but here is a list of some dangerous household items listed on Delta's site:

Household items

Aerosols
Bleach
Cleaning solvents
Drain cleaners
Flammable paints, stains, and lubricants
Spray starch

Flying with Jetblue, so not sure what to do. Maybe I should just put it in its own ziploc bag and see what happens next.

Most likely it would be no problem to put them in a seperate zip-lock bag being that it would be in small quantities but i would check JetBlue's website to see their listing of these items.::yes::

The only anectdote I can add is that my friend took the large (very large) Sebastian hair spray bottle in her carry-on and it was confiscated because it could be used as a weapon. I thin that referred to its size noit the aerosol quotient.
