I have semi-straight long hair and I LOVE the look when people comb over a sleek long bang from one side of their head to another (IE, like this http://www.nancyodell.com/)

My question is how can you get your "natural" part to change to a forced part deeper down the side? No matter how I try, I have a "Cowlick" and it makes my hair part right down the middle.

Wish I could help, but I don't know. ??? I have always been able to part my hair pretty much anywhere I please without problem.

Okay, I just hashed this out with my hair stylist a month ago. My hair was the same way. Get yourself some Tigi Bedhead Manipulator. It comes in a little blue jar. It's rather expensive, but you only need a tiny dab to get it to work right, so it lasts a while.

This stuff is like magic. My stupid hair really does keep the part I put in it now. You can buy Tigi Bedhead at most drug stores and hair salons. Good luck.:D

I had to "retrain" mine..It took a couple of months to get the deep side part right, because I have a huge cowlick right in the center of my forehead. I use Matrix Sleek styling cream, a hair dryer, and pomade. Also, if you wash your hair and aren't styling it to go out, go ahead and use product and make the part, and use barrettes to hold it while it dries...
