Labor Day Weekend - how crowded?

Sorry if this has been asked recently! I know the Tom Joyner Family Reunion is Labor Day weekend but does that bring more crowds mainly to MGM or every park? We live up the coast a few hours and its usually still 85 - 90 so I'm sure it's still hot!
If anyone has been over Labor Day,I'd love some info!

It's not Tom Joyner so much as the holiday weekend. Long weekends are always crowded at WDW, and Labor Day is no exception!

We went once over Labor Day a couple of years ago. So did everyone else I think! We had a good time but it was MUCH busier than we had expected.

Haven't been, but am going then adn staying the week after. I hear it's pretty crowded for the weekend, but dies on Monday and is super slow that whole week. can't wait to find out!

I also heard that the NBA Hoop It Up Championships are going to be at Disney that weekend. I went on their website and it says that it will be Sept 3 & 4 Downtown Disney. What does that mean as far as crowds?

Where did you find info on the Hoop it up Championships? I went to the NBA website but couldn't find anything? My son would like to see it! As far as crowds from it, my brother has done a Hoop It Up and I can tell you he would probably spend most of his time at Pleasure Island!! I don't think it will impact the parks much in my opinion!

The reason I had the heads up was that a friend of ours team placed 3rd at the Canadian championships in Toronto and their team is doing, but he doesn't have a lot of information yet. I'm still looking for more infor as we would like to see it also. Our problem is that we are leaving the morning of the 3rd

We've been during Labor Day weekend, and you'll see a significant drop in wait times that Tuesday.
