Who will be at WDW for Labor Day weekend 2011?

We are currently booked at Kidani in a Savannah view room with waitlist for BLT lake view and BWV BW view. (all studios). Checking in on Fri the 2 and leaving Mon the 5th. :cool1:

This will pretty much be a non-park trip although we may go into Epcot for one day to walk through the world showcase.

It will be myself and DH and I am going to try and get my DMom to go to as her birthday is on Sunday.:cake:

I think the last time we were there was labor day 2004. Wow, 7 years ago. It was a great trip though. We splurged and used our points to book Concierge at the Grand Floridian. loved, loved, loved that stay. :thumbsup2

We're there at almost the same time - just arriving very late the night before. We're "roughing" it and staying at CSR. I wanted to take advantage of free dining now that my kids are both over 10.

We are flying in late Friday night September 2nd and staying at OKW for the first night. Then we move over to the Boardwalk for three nights. I can't wait!! This will be our only trip to Disney this year. :sad2:

I can't complain as we are heading to Aulani in October for a week!!

Count us in!!

We arrive Thursday, September 1st and leave Friday September 9th. We are staying in a one bedroom at BLT, Theme Park view. It will be me, Dh and my Dm (celebrating her 84th bday!). We always go this time of year and we love it. It will be HOT but we enjoy the low crowds!! I can't wait.

Two years ago we went for our birthdays in late September and stayed at the POP resort for the free dining. And while it was okay I need my DVC conveniences this year. :thumbsup2

Wow, awesome. Just out of curiosity because I may bring my Aunt to Flower and Garden next spring (she is 74). How do you tour with someone that is older? Do you go for shorter spurts during the day? Does your DM use a scooter or wheel chair? We got my DM a scooter a few years ago because she was getting terrible leg cramps at night. She fought us at first but got quite comfortable with it and would actually let the youngest granddaughter ride on her lap with her.

We'll also be at Beach Club for Labor Day, we check in the 1st and leave the 5th! :cool1:

WOW, so jealous of your extended stay! Do you homeschool? I ask because thats a long time to take kids out of school. We have an 8 y.o. boy and a just turning 6 y.o. girl :)

We are arriving a AKV on the 3rd for 12 nights, then our last two nights at BLT.

Actually my Dm is in excellent shape. Hope I have her genes! She needs no assistance at all, infact, she out-does my Dh and I. We usually go out in the morning and then come back to the resort for a rest and then head out at night. She LOVES all of the firework shows and parades! In January 2010, she went on every ride EXCEPT for EE. She did it about 2 years before and didn't care for it. I think this year may be a little different, she might tone it down a bit.

Flower and Garden would be the perfect time to take your Aunt. You can go at a nice slow pace and take all of it in.

Have fun!

We'll be at AKV in Kidani village from Sept 1st-Sept 6th. It's my family of 5 and my dad and aunt. We can't wait!
