La Hacienda de San Angel VS San Angel Inn

Trying to figure out which Mexican place to book on our DDP. Any recommendations?

Love the San Angel! I'd say give it a try.

That is the San Angel Inn if you are looking for something more memorable or romantic because the atmosphere is very nice. Despite complaints about the food and service on the boards, my meals have been pleasant. I believe they have a chefs special menu that includes everything from appetizer to desert and the pollo a las rajos and carne asada steak are very good. If you drink, the Wild Passion Fruit Margarita is also good. Have not tried the other restaurant-sit down, but the quick service (Mexican) is very good although the menu is somewhat limited.
