Just had a cool idea. wouldn't be sweet if like a ton of us teen DISers went to disney at the same time and met up? that would rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aww, that's ok. I am suppose to be going to a Teen DIS meet in December. Leo (dragonlord11_7) George (marypops!) and Charmaine (tiinkerbelle) will be there. I went on a mini-DIS meet a year or so ago, I met Agnus! and her daughter, not sure of their usernames. Agnuses daughter posts on the VMK board so I hear. I also met a lady in the MK bathroom, but I didn't get her username. And I saw someone with a Mickey Head in Animal Kingdom, in Pizzafari. =] Trust me...you will see me. I'm the one with the mickeyheads in her hair (seriously) and the lime green LUGGAGE and the lime green aunt. (myfairygodmother) along side me! With matching lime green luggage. =] YAY 12 days!

I would love meeting DIS'ers my own age. I went to a Chicago DIS Meet in 2005. It was mostly adults though. I'm going to WDW March 26-31. I hope I'll meet up with some VMK'ers also.

Brother is off to university next year, and we can only go during march break this year, but it's not long enough.
We tried convincing my brother to forget about university for the next ten years, but.. ehh. that didnt' work out

I have been to a DIS Meet before. I had a great time. I met some older adults and some teens. You guys probably would not know of most of who I met...except OnceUponAStar*.

I plan to meet some DIS'ers this next summer also...again you guys probably won't know who they are.

Last year's meet was planned by me and so is this year...except this year is more of a "private" meet meaning just some of who I met last year and one other friend of ours is meeting up. Last year I posted on the DIS there was a meet and all who wanted to go could. This year, the few of us are just planning to see each other. (Two of the three of us have already met).


PLEASE REMEMBER THIS:

If you plan to meet ANYONE from online...understand that you technically DON'T know that person and should display ALL precautions when planning a meet. You MUST be careful and you MUST stay safe.

Make sure you meet in a public place
Make sure you are not alone
Make sure you have a cell phone or easy access to a means of communicating
Never get in the other person's car until you really KNOW this person
If you are under 18, make sure your parents or guardian know who you are meeting and you might want them to come along with you for your first meeting with anyone.

Eh, my family and I likely won't be going again until I graduate (from high school). So that's about three years from now.

But oh, it should be great if we do go then. =) Mom says we might actually be able to stay in the Animal Kingdom Lodge (!) or the Wilderness Lodge. (we normally stay in the values, specifically Pop Century)
