Ktturner's Better Hurry it up Pre-trippie: Lots of Pictures!

I am pretty sure you can stop the mail online, if you just go to the USPS website!

I never use the post office anymore! We pay most things online, I didn't even realize how nice their page has become! Thanks for the tip, I just went over and did it, that quick!

Yeah, one more thing off the to do list!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

OK, so I'm counting down to disney, but I acually pull outta here in like 12 days! EEK!

SO, I've been gathering everything I have to bring to my MILs. Beach stuff, presents for her, pictures from the last year downloaded from my computer, professional pictures, something to drink (they all drink mountain dew, I call it pee water) and laundry detergent!

I printed off the maps again (Thank you yahoo) so I remember where I'm going. I am a bit of a control freak, so I'll do the driving, DH will navigate when he is awake!

OH, and we love to start our drives early. I'm pulling out at 3:00 AM! (with a huge cup of coffee!) That way everyone sleeps, is quiet, and doesn't need potty breaks for awhile! Since I never know how far we'll get before everyone starts waking up, I don't know when we'll stop for breakfast. We do follow my family's tradition of stopping for breakfast at Cracker Barrel. The kids will get dressed and brush hair, we'll all eat, and I get a stretch break before the next leg of the trip. Since I'm not sure where this will be, I went to find where all the cracker barrels are located. Did you know they'll give you driving directions? Cool huh? I went to the link below, typed in my address and where we're going and I now have directions to all the CBs I could possibly pass and/or eat at! How cool is that?!?!?:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Even I won't try to plan what we'll do at my MILs house. So, we'll fast forward to the trip itself. . .

We have a short (3 and 1/2 hours) drive up to WDW from my MILs.

I can't wait, once we start passing the street signs pointing the way to the exit, I start with goosebumps! By the time we're going under the Walt Disney World Resort Arch, I'm crying! I'm choking up at the thought of it now!

So we'll leave early enough to arrive at DTD by 1:30. Then I have the first surprise of the trip for the girls! I'll pull out the BBB invitations with the money in them and hand them to the girls! I'll help them read the invites and then we'll pick up a bag packed with their princess dresses and new shoes we found today to go get changed! They know they are wearing their dresses at WDW one day, but they have no idea about the BBB. They have seen pictures, but I can't wait to see their faces when they realize we're going!

Our BBB appointment is for 2:00. We'll get there a little early and have a great time! We'll go to the phot shoot right afterwards to start my photopass!

Here's a picture of the new dresses we bought for BBB! They already love them!

Here are the shoes ("just like Dorothy's") that we found this morning at JC Penny's.

Then we head to the WL! We've never been there, but the pictures are amazing. It gets such wonderful reviews here on the boards that I am incredibly excited to see it!

We've asked for a north wing room (we booked standard view). We'd love a free upgrade, but I hate asking for things, so we'll see what happens!
I'm also going to request to be a flag family during our trip.

At 5:10 we have ADRs for Whispering Canyon, and will head down for dinner. I haven't told DH or DDs anything about the antics WCC is famous for. They all love ketchup though, so I'm gonna enjoy watching them make idiots of themselves! Hopefully, we'll get a waitress that is over the top!

Then it's off to MK for pictures in front of the castle and riding a few rides. Of course, we plan to watch spectromagic and wishes that day too!

OK, off to feed the princesses, more later!princess:

princess: The girls look so cute in their dresses! Just wait till the're all done-up after BBB! They're gonna love that.
Thanks for the Disney Store sale tip! Hmmm....I wonder where I'm headed tomorrow?:rolleyes1 I hope ours still has stuff left.

Our store was being picked over. . . very busy area, though! Good luck!:thumbsup2

Wow, less than 2 weeks till you leave!

You're going to LOVE the WL! Be sure to try the yummy brownies from Roaring Forks! :)

Oh, and I love the quote in your siggie, is it yours??? :cool2:

The remaining days at Disney will follow the ADRs. I don't want to make too many detailed plans, I'm afraid I'll get stuck in those plans and not have any fun (tends to happen with me).

I have the details finialized for a visitor though!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Fauna, one of the focker crockers will be joining us on our trip! I can't wait to take pictures with her!

Oh, and I got the money today to stuff the mousekeeping envelopes. One more thing finished. . .

I"m so excited, tonight one of our close couple friends will be watching my DDs. They have a young son around the same age so they'll play with all three for an overnight! That means Mark and I get our first date since Christmas! Needless to say I won't be on tonight, unless it is really late. . . :woohoo: :woohoo: I'm going on a date! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Oh, and I keep reading about bringing rain ponchos, where do I get them small enough??? I'm gonna be carrying a lot as is, but I sure don't want to pay $$$ there for them. . . ideas??

I got mine at walmart. Nick got a plain blue for 3.50 and I got emmy a tinkerbelle one on clearance for 2.50.. They were by where you get socks and underware for the girls..

Of course, b/c that is where I didn't look! :lmao: Thanks!
I'm headed to wally world next week to buy the toiletries, so I'll get them then! Thanks!

OK, so the girls are feeling the excitement! They are dying to wear their new shirts and outfits. My DD5 snuck into my room today and came out with this outfit half on (picture was from the end of last week). . .

She's ready to have it on and be at WDW. . .

I'm closer to ready. . .

I won't be able to work on the To Do list much until Monday as we're trying to get ahead on our master's stuff now for what we'll miss when we're gone. :goodvibes :goodvibes

:lmao: :rotfl2:

My son is sitting her watching tv and wondering what in the world I am laughing at.

totally agree, but love my crocs :goodvibes

Yep, they are great, and my DDs don't even wonder anymore. . . If I'm laughing while on the computer, they figure it's "mommy's disney computer friends." :rotfl: :rotfl:

I love those sparkly shoes for your girls. I would have killed for those when I was their age!

Thanks, aren't they great!!! My DDs are calling them dorothy's shoes, only better! Yes, I'm reliving my prissiness through my daughters!princess: princess:

Wow, I have had one busy day!

Did you know you can't buy Mr. Misty's in Gwinnett, GA???? I have checked every walgreens within a 45 minute drive, and 3 walmarts now! I'm going to have to give up!

OK, so I let the kids go to daycare today (my DH still works there for another week, so they go free, I just usually keep them). It was great! I had Bon Jovi on the radio, I managed to run 3 errands in less than 1 hour, and I decided what I wanted for lunch! Now, that is freedom!

So, after 2 dollar stores, 2 walgreens (called others), and 1 walmart (checked others over the weekend) I have bought all the toiletres for the trip!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I pulled out my bagallini today and started putting the items in, moleskin, baby wipes, lip stuff with sunscreen, powder, bandanas to wet, body glide, extra deoderant, emergency rain ponchos, and the autograph books in a ziploc bag with the pens! It feels so close now! Of course, I'll have to move some more in later, but it's less to do next Tuesday!

Then I attacked the bathroom bag. You know that one, it's the one we fill with 101 things we need to survive??? Anyway, I pulled out the ziploc (the slider ones are easier, so I used those) and packed up everything I could. I'll only have to add a few items next week.

I bought mostly bigger, normal items, not the cool little ones because we'll be gone for 9-10 days and it seems easier to bring some back than it would be to use 3 of the little bottles each!

I also found some glow sticks at the dollar store, 15 for $1! So, I got 3 of those for the parks, so DDs won't feel like mommy won't let them have fun when I'm cheap and say no! I also found some of those cool light up spinner things at walmart and got those.

I bought some fun stuff for their bags for the car. I won't show them that stuff until we're on the way, that way the surprise will keep them excited.

I opened all the new beach stuff and packed it into the beach bag. I have things ready to go into the suitcase, and lots of dirty laundry to do!

But, I managed to get through 1/2 of my to do list today! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

So, I'm going to work on my cue cards for DH, and a new name tag for Fauna Focker. Have you met her yet?? She'll be with us while we're in WDW. There are lots of pictures of her here:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1352416&page=117

She's living it up now at the Poly, but soon she'll be having fun with us! I"m off to figure more of this out. Tomorrow I'll post pictures of everything from today!

Have a very Disney Day!

Awesome pre-trippie!!! Your girls are ADORABLE! They look like such good friends. I always wanted to have girls close in age like that (although things didn't work out that way since my first is 3:confused3 ). Anyway, enjoy your trip - can't wait for the trip report! :thumbsup2

your girls are beautiful! Its getting so close for you! Looks like you're going to have a great time!

Thanks. Ironically, I didn't want mine that close together. But, now that I have them, no complaints! It has been easier to keep two at about the same stage, or one following right behind. No cleaning everything out storing it and bringing it back out 2 years later. . .:lmao: :lmao:
Thanks for the compliment! They are good friends. They want to hold hands all the time (unless they are wrestling each other to the ground!)
