Well I have no idea how this is supposed to work, so Im just going to do it this way lol. I have taken the challenge and I am very determined to make my goal of losing 50 pounds. That would put me at 163 pounds. Even though my final goal is 145 pounds I feel like if I set it at 50 pounds at a time, it will be easier to get through.
This is going to be very hard for me. We have 3 kids (Jace is 8, Emma is 6 and Abram is 7 months) and I never lost any of the baby weight from any of them. Our youngest is just 7 months old and I actaully did great weight wise with my pregnancy. My doc told me I could only gain 15 pounds because I was so overweight(230 pounds) Well I ended up losing 35 pounds my first trimester and I only gained 13 of that back, so I was actually negative in weight gain, which was very encouraging. Now Im stuck again and I need alot of help lol.
So as I posting in the WISH challenge thread here is my motivation:
DH and I are both trying to lose weight and I need alot of incentive to do that. Last night he told me to set my goal, so I did. Then he told me that once I lose my first 25 pounds he will call our TA and book an adults only WDW trip. Then after 15 more pounds he will buy our plane tickets. Then he said if I lose 10 more he will spring for a deluxe upgrade.
He has been dieting and exercising since Jan.1 so he has already slimmed down quite a bit and its easy for him. It frustrates me to see him drop pounds so fast and I have to work 3 times as hard to lose the same amount.
We started walking together this past Sunday night. That night I made it 1 mile and I was very discouraged. Monday night I went 1 and a half miles(that was the night he gave me my incentive) and last night I actually made 2 miles and felt great. I dont know if I will push 2 and a half tonight or not. I might try to sprint and walk. My doc says thats a great cardio workout for overweight gals.
Anyway thats my history and I look forward to posting in my journal. If you have any comment please feel free to post them, I welcome any advice
