For those of you using the frig and having food delivered what is the best way to do that? Originally the slot before us was open so I figured we could get the frig when we checked in and have food delivered the same day. Now someone else is requesting that slot before us so do you think it would be better to not expect the frig until that evening then have food delivered the next day, or possibly request food be delivered that first evening. Does anyone know how late garden grocer delivers?

Just wanted to say a quick thank you for allowing me to be part of this swap! Everything went very well with getting and dropping off the fridge. They actually delivered it to us because when I stopped at luggage services to pick it up, I was told that it had been delivered with our luggage. I questioned it because I was told that they would not deliver fridge swaps. I was assured that it was in the room. Nope. I called and they delivered it within 20 minutes. DS and I returned it Monday afternoon. They did not give me a receipt.

My suggestion to future swappers is to throw some packing tape in your suitcase. I totally forgot and ended up buying scotch tape at the POP gift shop. The box is in pretty good condition.

We do not drink coffee. The coffee maker is in it's box and there were a few to go cups. I didn't see any filters or anything.

Hopefully the swap will still be going strong if we manage a trip next year!

Just back from POP last night...THANK YOU for making this swap possible, it was a life saver on those HOT nights we came back late from PI or the EMH park only to find the food court closed...at least we had our water. I left the fridge with luggage service for Froggie Gurl...I left some water inside the fridge for her (I had some left for me from the previous swapper also...thank you!) along with some ponchos that we did not use. However, I am sad to report that I am not sure if there is a problem with the fridge operating properly or not, we had it turned up all of the way and our water was "very cool" but not "cold" as it should have been...hopefully it is not going out. Again...thank you for the use dkferret...I know it takes a lot of effort and time to organize this swap.

Yes, thank you...it was a nice surprise to see the extra water when we opened the box...we were not sure there would be enough in our 1 case for all 4 of us for the 6 days we were there. We just used water out of our fridge for the mornings when we left for the park and one last drink after we came back to the room at night so we did not really need any more than we brought. I think we left at least as much as you left for us for Froggie Gurl...it felt nice to spread a little pixie dust and show our appreciation for the use of the fridge. We like our water so cold it burns going down, but I certainly was not complaining because at least it was not HOT. Thanks again!

Sorry to you and everyone for not being around. My mom had a massive stroke on the 8th and died on the 9th. I've been out of town and quite depressed, as I was close to her. It's just been a bad month for me. I was already caught up on sending out swap information, and I got no urgent calls about the fridge, so all should be just fine. Gosh I'm sorry to hear about that. Ike brought us some of the worst winds I have ever experienced. We lost our electricity for about 5 hours and some of my co-workers still don't have electricity 4 days later so I can't complain. We did have some wind damange in the area but other than some lost siding we fared pretty well. Strangely enough we barely got a sprinkling of rain even in the middle of the black skies for gusty winds. I hope you have a speedy recovery.

Well, not really lost. Pop knows where it is but apparently it wasn't picked up or something . I don't know the details, but my guess is that the fridge was in "limbo" for a few days and now Pop has found it. Just got a call from a really nice CM at Pop.

I'll be checking in regularlly until this is resolved. So who ever has the fridge next might want to pm me. I can give you the phone # for the lady at Pop who called me and you can return her call and give her you info. so that you can pick up the fridge.

Oh my goodness, that is crazy! I had it from 9/14 to 9/20, and we dropped it off at Baggage Services for the next person who I think was to check in on 9/22 if I'm remembering correctly. I guess she didn't pick it up???? I hope everything is okay!!!! I taped a big note on there for the next person with her name, ressie number, check in date, etc. as the instructions said. I hope that everything is okay and that it is in safe hands again. We appreciated using it so much, what a wonderful thing this fridge swap is!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, this is interesting. I haven't heard anything from D Ward, and she used the fridge last year, so she does know how it works. I hope all is OK with her. Maybe the fridge couldn't be found and she gave up. I'll keep checking in also, thanks for letting everyone know.

She had PMed me a few weeks before, so I know she was still planning on going unless maybe something happened last minute and she couldn't go? Or maybe Pop couldn't find the fridge? But DH dropped it off on 9/20 in the morning at baggage and pointed out the sign with Donna's info on it (that was taped on with packaging tape very well). So the fridge has been found now???? I guess will know for sure if the next person picks it up with no problems. Please keep us posted, I hope that everything is okay with the fridge.
