Kroger 4x fuel points on gift cards this Friday-Sunday

There's a digital coupon to download. It looks like they won't be running it like last year when they did it for three weeks (end of May through mid-June). Unfortunately since it ends 5/31 I'll need to make sure I don't accumulate too many fuel points since they will expire in June.

We no longer have Kroger so I'm curious--how do you use Kroger rewards? Is it cents off of gas purchases? Or something else?

Our Kroger closed two years ago and my sister-in-law lost her job of 25 years.

It's $0.40/ gallon of gas (up to 35 gallons) for every $100 of gift cards purchased when they run 4x fuel points. You can use $1 off/ gallon at a time.

Yes. Some people bring 2 vehicles or fuel cans to maximize the discount. My van takes 20 gallons so it's an 8% discount + 6% back from Amex.

We get A LOT of points because we buy gift cards for everything from Kroger. For every 1000 points it is 1.00 off a gallon. So when it is 4X the points a 500$ gift card gets us 2 dollar off fill ups. (you can only use up to 1$ off per gallon per fill up) We drive a Suburban and then take gas cans for the lawn mower. We always get all 35 gallons. So that 500$ gift card actually cost 430$. Plus. I buy it with my Disney Visa and get 5$ in rewards. So I spend 425$ overall for a 500 gift card!
We give gift cards for most gifts as well.

We use HyVee fuel saver. It changes all the time but an average week might be 2 cents off per gallon for buying pasta, 1 cent per gallon for bananas, etc... Once in a while they offer bigger rewards: 10-50 cents off per gallon for certain products or gift cards. We save a lot on gas by using this, but I've seen some people post pictures of receipts where their gas was free.

I use the app and sort by most recent. I'm in the mid-Atlantic (Central VA).

Yeah, I've looked everywhere. All I'm getting is the 2Xs weekend one. Maybe it will be in tomorrow's email but I'm not hopeful. It's weird because we usually get it and I stash the points for our June trip. Aw well. Thanks.

Yes. I buy target gift cards and use them to buy disney gift cards online with red card as my default payment to get 5% off. Also try to go through ebates. It seems to occasionally work.

I bought $250 worth of Target gift cards this morning. Then filled up my tank for $1.43 / gallon. I just got a new Wells Fargo card which has 5% off groceries and gas for the first six months and $100 back when you spend $1000 in the first three months so I should be able to get $1,050 in disney gift cards for $780. Unfortunately it doesn't look like ebates worked on my first batch.

Can you purchase the gift cards online and get the 4x fuel points if you downloaded the coupon? Also, if I buy $2000 worth of gift cards, that would be $8 off per gallon-so $1 off each of 8 fill ups?

I only buy in the store so I'm not sure about buying online. It's a maximum of $1/gallon/fill up as far as I know. So you don't want to end up with too many points. I'm debating right now about if I need more than 3,000 points in June.

It took me from when I first read this thread to this morning to figure out how to load the 4X to my card...not sure it will work, though. Someone, the OP I think mentioned they were in Virginia, so I just logged into Kroeger and changed my preferred store to one in Virginia, and found the 4X coupon and loaded it to my card. Not even sure I'll be heading into town today, so it might be a moot point.
