Kroger 4X Fuel Points for Gift Cards Starts Nov 17 (Atlanta) and maybe others

I while back I received a printed "coupon" that announced the next 4X fuel points promotion. It is supposed to start Nov 17th and in the past my Disney gift card purchases were eligible. This is great timing for us as we have a Thanksgiving and Christmas trip planned. The offer ends Dec 7th

I love it when my frys (Kroger) does this! I buy enough gift cards for my black Friday spending and it makes me feel less guilty spending so much since I am saving on gas

My DS works at Kroger and gave me a heads up on this last week. I always buy my parents and in laws restaurant gift cards for Christmas. I will be hitting up the Kroger and saving on some gas this week!

Are the cards that don't have a set amount (target), that you can put $100-$500 eligible for the 4x?

In the past, I have purchased Disney gift cards for odd amounts and I got the 4x points. I would assume the Target cards would work. To test it, get one card with a small amount on it and see how many points you get. That should be a low risk way to test the waters.

Side note: do you guys know if you can use Disney gift cards to pay your hotel bill (aka--things you've charged to your room throughout your trip) or is there some kind of rule against that?

You can pretty much pay for a Disney trip in full with Disney gift cards bought at Kroger, we have done it and the fuel discounts are awesome.

Our Kroger also has the gas discount bumped up to $2 a gallon off for 2,000 points, which isn't difficult to get to with a large gift card purchase.

With gas hovering just above $3/gal I can fill both midsize SUVs for under $35 total.

This is even better if you have a grocery credit card with some cash back.

Also take a look at some of the Kroger fan sites, there is a coupon posted for $7 off a $25 Chipolte gift card or $12 off the $45 gift pack.

I would love it if our Kroger bumped the gas savings up to $2/gallon. We always buy lots of gift cards during the 4x fuel points. This time we will knock out some Christmas gifts and pick up a few disney cards for our trip next year.
