Thanks! For the past month or so, I'll randomly ask Doug, "Do you think everything will look okay? The colors together, everything?" The man really has the patience of a saint!

Do you find yourself constantly back and forth between super excited and those panicky feelings?

Holy moly, 12 days! Everything's done for the most part (just need to add one last thing to Doug's hat), but I just can't seem to stop worrying about forgetting something! Whoever created post-it notes really needs to be sainted.

And even though I've cut large lengths of hair off multiple times over the years, I still get nervous when I sit in the chair. This time, especially!

I think my body just got tired of not sleeping and stressing, and forced my brain to calm itself down. My mom is driving me nuts with random questions, though. She asked if she could bring her cellphone on the plane... in case she has to use the bathroom and can't figure out how to unlock the door once inside.

Yeah, my mom is rather... well, this is her first flight ever and all, but still. The phones wouldn't get service up there anyways!

I can't believe it's eight days away now! It seems like just a couple months ago that I first called Disney. And that was like July or August. And now at this time NEXT WEEK, we'll be at the MK with my family.

THE WEDDING'S IN FOUR DAYS!

And amazingly? I'm pretty calm and collected. (My mom, on the other hand, is a nervous wreck still.)

We mailed down the box of wedding stuff on Saturday ($48! For a box that weighed about the same as the two dresses that went out via UPS for more than half of that price!) And then Sunday morning I realized I failed to mail the aisle runner down. Doh! Doug did that yesterday after work, thankfully, and it'll be there by Thursday. Which is good since we get there on Friday afternoon! I'm so excited to spend the day with my parents at MK and Epcot.

We finally did the iron-on rhinestone transfer for my tank top. Well, I say "we", but it was more of Doug doing the ironing and then me holding my breath as he was pulling the transfer off.

(I found the tank top at Sears, in case anyone's curious. And the transfer is from the Etsy seller RhinestoneWishes)

Oh! I convinced Doug that we really should use that hour photoshoot (since we aren't using Disney photography for the wedding), and he pretty much let me choose the location, so we're having it at the Poly! We've never been there, but the pictures so many of you girls have posted were what convinced me. And it took THREE DAYS, but I finally found a dress that I mostly like and fits me. (All the ones I did like didn't exist in a size larger than 13 or XL. ) And of course I can't find a picture of it online. *shakes an angry fist*

And because everyone loves a good pet pic... here's Penny when she was "on duty" on the couch -

Good idea with the tank, I was looking at the Bride t-shirt on the Disney Store website and it's so pricey I keep hemming and hawing about it. Plus I continue to add to my list of "clothing to purchase for the honeymoon." Yeah, I'm a bit crazy but who doesn't want some cute new thing to wear on their honeymoon? Plus I'm a huge clothes horse!!

I haven't even thought about an isle runner, I have some time...like 8 1/2 months. I'm not sure if I want/need one or not. I'll be at SBP...alas there is plenty of time.

Not so much for you, thought!! So excited for you and totally jealous, I'm dying for a Disney trip!! And I am so excited about the wedding I just want to get going with all the plans already. Grrrr...time you are my enemy!!!

-I KNOW! (Side note - slightly annoyed Doug didn't get the delivery confirmation. I want to SEE that it arrived!)
-He's pretty awesome when it comes to helping out. He even does the laundry, since I can't do the cellar stairs all that well anymore. And he cooks! I feel like I won the lottery when it comes to him.
-No, Penny is a few months older than LOST is. My mom named her, and when she an itty-bitty puppy (she was the runt of the litter and even at 8 weeks old, she was about the size and weight of a guinea pig), she felt that her fur was the color of a bright copper penny.

I wish you could be going down earlier in the month!

I originally bought the tee from Disney, but there XL is ridiculously small. I got it on, but I'd be bordering on indecent if I wore it in public. Plus the tank at Sears was way cheaper.

I'm not sure if aisle runners are allowed at SBP. I've heard both yes and no, so it's probably best to ask your planner. The one I bought was from the Etsy seller "idoweddingdesigns". She hand paints them and has really good prices, too.

Time (and gravity) is often my enemy, too. (I'm rather clutzy, but *knocks on wood* I've been doing good this past week!)
