KrazyLuke arrived at Logan Airport in Boston, MA around 5:40 a.m. Of course, being the little avatar he is, he was hungry!
With an empty stomach and low engery, KrazyLuke decided to head over to the nearest Dunkin' Donuts and picked up a bagel.
Time seemed to drag on forever as flight number 1830 Delta to Orlando, FL was not to depart until 8:12 a.m. To pass time, KrazyLuke went through the bags to make sure everything was there...
Everything was indeed there. Now, KrazyLuke enjoyed watching the planes come in and out of the airport...however, it was his turn now. The flight attendent called zones 1-3 in to board the plane and through a wave of rushed people, KrazyLuke made it to his seat safe and sound.
The plane was delayed about 5 minutes to wait for clear traffic. After everything was a go, the plane taxied and took off! The day was perfect for flying...the sun was high and the clouds where almost non-exsistant.
KrazyLuke was relieved to see that there were entertainment systems on board despite the fact that this was not a song flight. He played some inflight trivia and listened to some music. He boogied on down!
It didn't take long before everyone was airborn and once airborn, walking around becomes permitted. KrazyLuke liked the sound of that and decided to walk on the window. He loved the view and soaked in all the amazing sights!
After 2 and a half hours of flying, the plane landed in Orlando International Airport. The weather was hot and humid as should be and the sun was bright and brillant. KrazyLuke got off the plane and headed over to ground transportation where he was to ride in a limo to the Disney destination...the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa!
KrazyLuke was more excited than anything at this point and it was hard for him to keep his cool! But alas, he didn't break any glasses on the limo. The only thing he hated to see was the absence of drinks.
Once he arrived at the hotel, 14 luggage bags were placed onto the cart (forgot the official name of them lol) and brought up to room 8443 in the Boca Chica building. KrazyLuke checked into the room, got things squared away with the plan he was using (the Platinum Plan) and headed up to the room. He wanted to open the room but the key didn't want to stay in his hand.
Upon entering the room, he noticed the size was smaller than expected and the balcony was a tight squeeze. He promptly unpacked the bags and got ready to head out to the Magic Kingdom.
Because he was still hungry, he decided to go to Cacey's Corner for lunch. (A tradition lol.) He ordered a Grand Slam hot dog and covered the thing in mustard. He also ate the whole thing of fries...that plane ride certainly brings up an appetite.
After lunch, KrazyLuke went to Adventureland to try out the redone Pirates of the Caribbean ride. The wait was 40 minutes long but a continuously moving one at that. Finally he got on and saw the ride. The effects were neat and the newly added Captain Jack Sparrow was frightfully realistic.
It didn't take long for KrazyLuke to get hungry again and so he headed back to the resort to prep up for a nice dinner at Citrico's in the Grand Floridian Main Building. He took a shower and put on the nicest casual outfit he had. ADR were for 7:00 p.m. KrazyLuke liked the Platinum Plan because he didn't have to pay the $300.00 something it cost! All he had to do was show the kind waiter his room key/park ticket.
After day 1, KrazyLuke was excited because day 2 was the vmk/dis meet! He got up and got ready and headed out to the Magic Kingdom for extra morning hours. At 9:00 he went to VMK Central and there he meet ElectricLime, CL_OutOfMyMind, CL_Patchy, CL_AdioSkater, and OnceUponAStar. He had a blast at the Magic Kingdom riding the rides and eating lunch at the Columbia Harbour House.
After the MK, KrazyLuke went to Disney's MGM Studios with AdioSkater, Patchy, and Star. He had a great time riding Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, and the Tower of Terror...but before that, he had an experience of his own...
A couple of people had to use the restrooms or had to do something or other, leaving him alone with Patchy...KrazyLuke ran into the nearest store and immediately found the Dead Man's Chest! It was there when he saw her...Patchy's flat. KrazyLuke has a crush on Patchy's flat...lol. So he took a picture with her.
KrazyLuke went back to the Grand Floridian after the meet and enjoyed listening to the pianist play some beautiful music that really made the place feel magical.
KrazyLuke then went over to the California Grill at the Contemporary for dinner. He had an ADR there and again found himself loving the Platinum Plan lol. He lucked out and got the best seat in the restaurant. It was a seat up close to the window overlooking the Seven Seas Lagoon and the Castle. After dinner he went out to the observation deck and watched Wishes...truly magical.
On Friday,the third day, KrazyLuke set out to the Contemporary for some water fun! First he went riding on the Water Mice, then fell in love with the Jet Skis, and ended up 450 feet in the air parasailing! When dinner time came around, KrazyLuke went back to the Grand Floridian to eat at Victoria And Albert's. He got his jacket and tie on and thanked God he was on the Platinum Plan for that meal! lol.
The next day was a special day...it was Segway day at EPCOT! KrazyLuke became overly excited and rushed over to EPCOT early in the morning!
After checking in for the Segway tour around the world, he wanted to take a nap...he woke up quickly when this happened....
Crit (on vmk) Mousecrazy22 (on Dis) practically stepped on him!! -- by accident...
KrazyLuke took such a fright, it made him very thirsty! Thirsty enough to drink even the Floridian water!!
After the wait, he finally went around the world on the Segway! And let me tell you, he loved it!
The day at EPCOT was young and he was not near tired yet, so he didn't mind waiting in the, what he thought to be, 20 minute line for Soarin'. Come to find, he waited well over an hour.
He ate lunch in Italy, and the walk from Future World to the World Showcase proved to wear him down. He went right from EPCOT, took a boat to the Boardwalk, entered the Yatch and Beach Club and took a bus from there to the Animal Kingdom.
He saw the Tree of Life, loved it and loved the 3D show, It's Tough To Be A Bug!
He even tried the new Expedition Everest ride! He got on the ride and went up and up and up and up but unfortunately couldn't see the whole kingdom from the top as his seat was more towards the middle of the train. He screamed at what happened next and the yeti did it in for him!
After a VERY hot and humid as well as extremely crowded day at the Animal Kingdom, KrazLuke went to see Fantasmic at Disney's MGM Studios. He thought is was neat and laughed when the audience started the wave!!
The next day, he thought to himself..."why not visit a waterpark...how about Blizzard Beach!" And so he went there and tried out some sweet rides...but chose not to go down Summit Plummit...he didn't want to die just yet!
