Kraft food & family magazine NOT budget friendly anymore

I am with everyone else. I am not going to pay for it. I have enjoyed it over the years and I have used the coupons but there have not been many lately. Sorry Kraft, but it is good-bye from me also.

I liked them but not enough to pay, so many of the recipes were not that healthy anyway!

I agree that the magazine was good for free but I am not spending money on it when we already get 2 food mags (Rachael Ray and Food Network) and we make tons of recipes out of those that are healthier than the ones in the Kraft mag.

OMG, I got the same thing and thought the same thing. Didn't we used to get that for free? I'm sure I wouldn't have paid for a subscription that is a glorified advertisement for Kraft. Mine was only $6.99,. still not worth it. I'm thinking worth it is....free.

:thumbsup2

I thought the same thing. I wouldn't really mind paying $6.99 for a magazine subscription if they had good coupons in it (think All you). But I won't pay for a magazine w/yucky coupons.

Loved getting this magazine and got many recipes out of them, but I agree with a PP that they were a glorified ad for Kraft products. I was thinking of subscribing, but I don't think I will.

I didn't even get the new one saying I had to pay for it? Hmm wonder why? And I subscribe to several "food" magazines- but this won't be one of them. I did love the coupons- but I can get those elsewhere and the recipes can be found on site!.

Don't feel bad. I haven't gotten it yet either!

That was my offer too. I was kind of irked because of the whole "end of subscription thing. Are htey trying to convince us that we have always paid for it in the past?
Well, we've all been getting the magazine on a regular basis (aka its printing schedule) for a period of time. Paid or free, that MAKES it a subscription.

Well, respectfully - yeah. What else would it be? Kraft publishes it, of course all the recipes are going to include/require Kraft products.

I got the new holiday mag, but it says nothing about subscribing or final issue. :confused3

Mine was in a plastic wrapping with an invoice for $6.99 put inside an envelope. It shows a snowflake cake on the front with the title 30 recipes for stress-free entertaining. I also noticed it's marked Holiday, '09 $3.95 in the corner. There's a starburst stating Attention: Final Issue Alert! Don't miss out......See envelope below & reply at once! Is that the same one you're referring to?

Yes, that is the same one I got too. It used to be better. Now they want to charge for it. No thanks! I will be passing on it.

I got the $6.99 'offer', too. What a joke! They are asking me to pay for what is basically a big commercial for their products. I've enjoyed getting the free issues but will not be paying for them to market to me.
