Kouzzina or not Kouzzina - that is the question

I went with my entire family, a group of about 10. All agreed that the food was generally mediocre. I, however, had the whole fish, which was excellent..... almost as good as the one at Blue Zoo. It is prepared differently than at Blue Zoo.... pan seared, with a spice blend of black pepper and chilies (among other things). They will fillet it for you if you like, but I prefer to dig into it on my own.
I'd say it's worth a shot. I feel conflicted, because no one wants to go back, and I do, but only to have the fish.
By the way, breakfast there is quite good. I really enjoy the sweet potato hash.

I like it very much, but it is different and there are lots of people who do not care for the menu. I would keep the ADR and make my own judgement.

There are lots of complaints on slow service. Yet every time we have gone we have gotten good service.

Kouzzina was our favorite meal of the trip. I have a more detailed review in my dining report, but the food was excellent. I had the whole fish (AMAZING), DH had the lamb shank (DELICIOUS), and DH's cousin had the lamb ragu (DELICIOUS). This isn't your neighborhood Greek restaurant, that's for sure, but the food is scrumptious!

I wanted to eat there last month but backed out because I dont think we will like the cinnamon in the food (hated it at Boma)

I am thinking of adding in for our long trip in Oct, hope the menu changes again

Stay away from the cinnamon chicken and possibly the pastisio (though DH's cousin liked it when he sampled it a few weeks ago). The food is great. Get the lamb shank or the whole fish (be aware that the whole fish has chilis so it is on the spicy side).

We ate here in Oct 2009 and my entree was my favorite of all the entrees I've ever had at WDW (including Cali Grill, Narcoosee, HBD, LeCellier, etc.). It was the whole grilled fish. It was superb. Perfectly cooked. However, I have seen many give it pretty bad reviews, so I think it has consistency issues - lack of consistency is never a good sign. I have an ADR for September, and I hope I'm not disappointed.

The only thing I can say is if you look at the menu, does it sound really appealing? Mediterranean food is my favorite. I would choose Med over any other type, any day. So, if it's something that really appeals to you - go for it! If it doesn't, then I would swap for something that calls out to you more.

Such great advice - thanks!

I LOVE lamb..........I love fish, but I generally don't get whole fish. I'll take a look at the menu again and if it still looks good, I'll stick it out. I do want to make an ADR for breakfast -the sweet potato hash does sound amazing.

I'm personally fine with non-traditional Greek - I just like good food, period. You're righ - to each his own. I may be coming down with "too much time left before my trip, so I need to tweak my itinerary because there's nothing left to do" -itis, lol. I think I'll likely just leave it alone and take my chances that I'll find something I like.

i know what you mean! my mom and i are traveling down at the end of this month and i keep changing my mind about the restaurants we have reservations at. i'm spoiled where i am with all types of great restaurants around, so i never know what i'll really crave until i get down there. too bad reservations book so early! lol. good luck choosing - it's always tough since you never know what you'll really like in the end!
