We are looking for a dinner one night and currently have a reservation at Brown Derby. Any opinions on which of these we should choose? We are eating at Le Cellier the night before.

I love all three, but Shula's is the best.

Agreed. However, Brown Derby is a family favorite of ours, and we have always had great service and a great meal there. So if you wanna save a little money but still have an excellent meal, I recommend there. :thumbsup2

Try Kouzzina - we love it....know it has had mixed reviews but it's something different...we particularly like bkft there - the pancakes are great and there is a greek inspired egg dish that's lovely. Plus Cat loves the mouse - show her some love ;-)
That said we also have thoroughly enjoyed BD - different environment -
Never been to Shula's but we have relatives in the area and they rave about it - but it's steak - so all depends what you're wanting to experience - all offer something different...
Can't go wrong...

We had a fresh and exciting dinner at Cat's. It was wonderful from start to finish. BD seems stale to me, same menu forever. I dont know about Shulas.

The menu at BD definitely changes. I've noticed many variations in the filet accompaniments, duck dish, chicken, pork, short rib, etc. Some things will probably never change (cobb salad, crab cake, popular ravioli appetizer, noodle bowl, and grapefruit cake), but every signature has a few dishes that are always on the menu.

I like Brown Derby a lot.

I don't think you can make a wrong decision. All three restaurants you mentioned are worthwhile for different reasons. Personally, I love Kouzzina and don't understand all the criticism. It's actually one of my favorites non-signature restaurants on property. I suppose the menu can seem a bit exotic or unusual for people unaccustomed to Greek or Mediterranean cuisine, but if you like that type of food, I strongly recommend Kouzzina.

Are you using a dining plan? That definitely will influence the advice you'll receive. I presume you aren't, because Shula's does not participate in the plan. It is also, I should add, extremely expensive, even by Disney standards. I almost hesitate to suggest it based on that factor alone, especially if you have acceptable steakhouses in your hometown.

There's really no comparison at all food-wise between Shula's and the other two. If you don't want steak two nights in a row, then Brown Derby would be my second choice. I can't imagine that I'll be back to Kouzzina anytime in the near future to give it another shot after the horrendous experience I had there last time, but a lot of people on the boards seem to like it, so if you're really set on it, by all means, go for it.

Been to Shulas in New Orleans (Typical steak house). We tried Kouzinna last month and loved it. My husband had a whole fish dinner that he really enjoyed and I had the Greek lasagne which was mouth watering. Very good restuarant!!! I have also been to Brown Derby and really enjoyed it there (Cobb salad is great), but I still think Kouzzina is better!!!!

I'm glad to see all the positive responses to shula's DH is keen to try the largest porterhouse steak on the menu. It was first choice of ADR for our trip this year. Never been before so looking forward to it.

Shula's - hands down the best of the three
Kouzinna's - we really like this place. Good food, good price
BD - had good meals and bad meals there, nothing to write home about in our opinion

Been to Kouzzina twice and loved it both times. At Christmas time they had a new menu and we really enjoyed it. Great server both times too

i would suggest going there

How do you compare these three? It's like apples, oranges and pears I guess.
