This is a tough one.
The CS kosher meals are $8.99-$9.99, without drink or dessert. I don't even know if you can get a kosher dessert at a CS location, unless they would substitute chips or some other packaged product they had on hand that happened to be kosher. Some have fresh fruit.
Cost of a CS kosher meal:
main selection $9.99
Large Drink $2.69
Fruit $1.29
Total $13.97 + 6.5% tax
BTW, everything is double sealed and the CS restaurants that offer kosher meals have separate micro-waves for the kosher food.
The kosher meals at the TS restaurants are pre-packaged and the desserts are packaged separately. I do not recall an appetizers being offered, but according to AllEars (
LINK) they are. At 1900 Park Fare (buffet) the chef offered to make a cold tossed sald with fresh utensils and brought individual packages of Ken's salad dressing. I cannot remember the cost of the TS meals, so this is a very rough estimate:
Main selection $17.99 (might be $1-$4 more)
Dessert $5.99
Drink $2.69
total $26.67 + 6.5% tax and tip
The desserts are pareve. There are both dairy and meat entrees.
There are numerous kosher snack options everywhere in resorts and parks.
We usually stay at OKW with a full kitchen. We bring some food from home (when we drive).
We have had food delivered from
Kosher Kats (worked out very well).
We eat at Lower East Side (5 minutes from DTD) and on our next trip will try
Cohen's deli (with great reviews) in Clermont, about 20 minutes drive from the AKL back exit.
