ooo i hope your lil one feels better soon with blockage, My son has had the opposite effect and so has my daughter , they pass everything by far too quickly so they don;t absorb enough nutrition hence why my son has/has retardation of growth due to his illness (unsure if he still has cause in 3 months he has managed to gain an entire foot and 3 shoe sizes !) having said that he is still shorter and smaller then his average friends his age, and way smaller then the average person in our family. most men in my family is 6ft+ my great grandmother was just over 7ft etc etc and hios fathers side they were all near 6 ft however i am only 5ft 6 and his father is 5ft 10 and daughter is 5ft11... I am with you on the idea of being scared with doing enema, I had to give kate one when she was very lil and I was scared then i honestly can not imagine your fear with this, Just know we are thinking of you and your family and also crossing fingers that you have dates VERY soon so you guys can start dreaming definate disney plans !!!!!! geesh I wrote you a book today

Glad to hear that he has grown. Wow!! you have some tall people in your family. We are shorties here. I'm 5'5" and DH is 5'6in. My kids has no hope.lol. My dad and brother are about 5'8-9", so I guess a little hope.

We just had her KUB done and just waiting for doctor to call me back. She is full of stools. I do Enema alot on her, but this time I'm scared since she had the barium and that sets up like cement in her. Thank you for coming by

Kylee had a KUB today and she is full of stools. The Ped got the results and
wants me to do 17g of Miralax this evening(did at 4pm) and 17g in the morning. She also told me to give her 1 dulcolax(sp)(did at 8pm). She told me if this doesn't work than she will admit her tomorrow to do a bowel clean out. The Ped told me that you shouldn't do Senna or fleet Enema when you are impacted. She tried to go, but couldn't. She is laying in bed with me now. The dulcolax is giving her horrible cramps. I hooked her up to a ferral bag(stomach relief bag), but nothing really is coming out. Hoping and praying that she can pass this in the morning and we don't get admitted.

I hope she goes and can avoid the hospital clean out. That's no fun at all. Let us know how things are going.

We deal with chronic constipation here...Catherine needs HUGE amounts of senna laxative every day to keep her clean.

If we go to CHLA we have to go through ER and wait for a bed...if we even get a bed or do a direct admit to Valley Presbyterian Hospital. Hopefully Valley Presbyterian Hospital has WiFi. This is a new hospital for us. Our home hospital is CHLA.

We are here at the hospital. Still no BM. Poor kids had to endure 6 pokes before they got an IV in. She was very dehydrated and scar tissue. Hoping we get out of here later today or tomorrow. The kids start school on Monday.

Korissa is getting antsy. She can't wait to get dates. If I don't hear anything by Wed. I will call.

We also got date for the Walk for Wishes last night. We have participated in this event every year. Next year it will be held March 5th(I think that was the date.) I was so scared that we would be gone on our trip and would miss it.

Oh I'm soooo sooo glad she has finally been able to go what a releif ! I'm so sorry you have to miss the first day of school and I know what you mean by missing other kiddos, That feeling of being torn between kiddos is sooo difficult! I'm so glad you was able to give an update , I've had you all on my mind as many of us have.

I didn't know there was a cinderella II ? LOL I will have to ask DD if she has seen and aww @ tarzan is this the one with phil collins soundtrack in it?

I'm glad she's feeling better. I can relate to the hospital boredom. Cinderella three must have been a straight to video version. Tessa likes it and we saw it on the D channel.
