Kona, WCC, or 1900 Park Fare for breakfast?

I posted my ADRs yesterday, and I got some great feedback which helped me to narrow down some of my choices. I am still having a hard time deciding between the 3 restaurants above for breakfast on our final full day at the World, which is a free day (no parks planned). I'm leaning toward WCC because I would love to check out Wilderness Lodge. We'll be there in December :santa: so the resorts will be decorated, and I have planned some meals at various resorts for that reason. We will be eating at Narcoosee's and Beaches & Cream on other days, so we'll get to see GF and Beach Club. The only thing is, I am dying to try Tonga toast. But do I actually plan a whole meal around toast? Is it that good?? ;)

Thanks again for the help!

I would do WCC so you can check out WL - it's gorgeous, esp at Christmas!

I am not a Tonga Toast fan, I find it disgusting myself (deep fried sugar and lard) and don't think you're missing anything. Plus there is always next time! We trekked over there just for it and were SO disappointed in how gross it was.

From the WL, you could even stop by FW and see the sites there. Taking the boat over is cool, and you can see the geyser at WL on your way to the boat.

Thanks! The boat ride does sound fun, and I think DS 9 and DD 7 would enjoy seeing WL and Fort Wilderness.

It is so hard, never having been to any of these restaurants (well, I don't think I have, I haven't been to WDW since 1986) to decide! Thanks goodness for this board!

We have not gone to WCC, but it has become our tradition the last few times to end our trip at 1900 Park and will do the same this June. We have enjoyed 1900 Park every time. I agree about the Tonga Toast...nothing too special.:cool1:

My vote would be for the 1900 Park Fare:thumbsup2 The character interaction was WONDERFUL with Pooh, Tigger, Alice, MadHatter and Mary Poppins. The buffet was very extensive, something for everyone and very good. Gotta luv those MICKEY WAFFLES:goodvibes It is just a nice relaxing/fun atmosphere for breakfast and I would highly recommend it! Plus, I'm biased now after our recent return from our stay @ the GF, and after breakfast if you aren't staying at the GF, you can stroll the grounds and shop in the main bldg. We stayed at the GF and it was nice coming from our hotel room to such a nice place onsite for breakfast. It was AWESOME!

I had Kona scheduled for our recent May trip and I cancelled it to book for Chef Mickey's. I had visited the Poly while staying @ GF and didn't really care for what I saw. Now their FAMOUS tonga toast by many is a must have, but it just wasn't anything I really had to have and I cared more for other choices. The whole Whispering Canyon atmosphere, I never really understood or cared for. I just like being @ the GF period so I would vote for 1900 PARK FARE :)

Having been to all of them my absolute favorite is 1900 Park Fare. Its such a beautiful setting and the food is fantastic. And it has all the British characters so I'm a little biased. :rolleyes1
