Kona Question, Rainforest Question...

First of all, wondering about Kona. I had decided to go to Kona for steaks after I posted a thread here a few months ago about best steaks at a casual place. Most answers raved about the filet(I thought) at Kona's. I thought I even saw pictures that people posted. Of course, of all the subs I have, I deleted that thread cause I knew I was all set for that ressie. So tonight I was looking at All Ears at the menu for Kona's and don't see any filet listed! This is my first ressie of our trip and we were so excited to eat here! Did the menu change and drop the filet entree? I really hope not, and that it's still offered or just missed getting on the menu. I will be really disappointed if they've really dropped it from the menu. I know they still have the prime rib listed and it's supposed to be great also, but really counting on the filet. Does anyone know?

Also, can you use the DDP at the Rainforest at the Animal Kingdom? When I have more time I guess I'll have to look on the dis for the list of restaurants on the DDP!

Yes, they did eliminate the filet from the menu at Kona Cafe.

Was just researching last night and concluded that Rainforest is not on the DDP. Therefore I am searching for one more TS to use my credits!

I think RFC is on the dining plan IF you have the deluxe.
I remember them asking us when we visited.

They, Rainforest, accepts the Premium and the Platinum plans. They do not accept the Regular Dining Plan or the Deluxe Dining Plan.

The premium and platinum plans include entertainment as well as dining and start at about $100+/night.

Hmmm, well Rainforest, I don't mind that not being on the ddp too much, but would have been nice. But, I'm really, really sad they've taken the filet off the menu! We were so looking forward to that as most posters thought that was one of the best steaks to be had! Now I feel like I've really missed something. That was our first, and for a long time our only adr. And, now that we got free dining I've got to make some more to add to the few we have, but I'm still pouting about Kona!
