I know this is a silly question, but we have a Kona dinner ADR for our upcoming trip. My favorite dish is the pan asian noodles, when I have been there it was made with sweet and sour sauce and pineapples.

I was looking at allears and disboards menus, one reflects the dish I am familiar with, one shows a dish made with peanuts and a soy peanut sauce. Can anyone confirm which one they are serving?

I had it last week but dont recall any pineapples in it, there were peanuts so im guessing it was the soy peanut sauce.

It has been almost a year since I was there but I asked for the old sweet and sour sauce on the pasta and they did it without any problems. It is my fav. dish at Kona.

DH had it last Friday and it was definately peanuts/soy (no pineapple). He also said it wasn't that great. Not a lot of chicken, noodles soggy and the flavor was a "blah".
I had the pineapple glazed steak and it was fabulous.
:)

Mine had a nice taste but have to agree not much chicken at all which i was surprised about.

I had it at the beginning of the month, like the other posters said, it was the soy/peanut sauce. I thought it was good, yes it could have used more chicken, but I was satisfied.

On a similar note, the wings weren't as good as I remembered them, not sure what was different though. Maybe they just weren't as crispy as before.

Thanks everyone. I know it's a silly question, but that dish was why I wanted to return and now I learned it may have changed I am reconsidering the ADR. Good to know they will make it with the old sauce if you request it, though I usually feel uncomfortable making requests for something not on the menu. So not sure I'll keep the ADR or not. Thanks again.

I'd love to find the recipe so I could make it at home, was searching around and not having much luck.
