Kona from 4 people 6 people

I have a Kona reservation for 4 people coming up. Now we are going to be 6. I keep trying to modify and I know that usually a bigger table. I will keep checking but anyone think we will have a problem showing up with 6? Or should I get a backup plan?

It's harder to increase your party size from 4 to 6 because it's generally a different table size. From 3 to 4, not as much of an issue. I'd keep trying to modify or be prepared to wait when you get to Kona. Maybe arrive early and let them know. Kona is usually a restaurant that does have availability, so I think if you're willing to wait, they may be able to accommodate your larger party size. If they turn you away, you could always go to Tambu Lounge, it's a walk up there and a more limited menu.

Get a reservation 2 and then try to combine when there.

I agree with booking an ADR for 2 as close to the same time as possible, arriving early for the earlier one, then asking for the two parties to be seated together when you check in.
