Kona dinner

So have a reservation for our arrival night at Kona. Haven’t eaten there in, well ever!
staying at VGF and figured a nice monorail ride to the Poly and have dinner there. Won’t do Ohana because my wife can’t eat there and honestly not my favorite.
Has anyone been lately?
Any menu recommendations

We ate there in July. The Pu Pu platter was yummy! My mahi was overcooked (flavor was good, but I hate overcooked fish). DH liked his short ribs. My brother liked the short ribs as well.

I would walk or boat from GF to Poly then mono back. You can do mono TO poly but it’s a loop GF, MK, CR, TTC then poly . Boat is MK, GF POLY repeat. There is a walkway from GF that starts in VGF parking lot to poly, it’s a temp walkway with construction so not as pretty as prior but serviceable.

I love the sticky wings and wontons.

My go-to is the Kona-braised short ribs. But I ask for broccoli instead of broccolini. So tender, and I love the flavor. Ask your server to explain the design of the restaurant if you are so inclined. Was very interesting.

I liked the Airline Chicken plus the noodles on an older trip, but I didn’t see noodles on the menu back in May. My favorite is the bread pudding dessert, the same as Ohana.
